Springhill Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh Mills

good hotel for travel....if you are not seeking comfort.

Very clean hotel...and as these are 'suites'...you do have a fridge, microwave, sink area and small sitting room. If you are looking for comfortable bedding....forget it. Sheets are thin...nothing fancy. Not at all like the Marriot North in Cranberry. We had to dig up an extra blanket that was in our closet, (for the pull out couch)...just so we'd be warm enough in the bed. (thats an example of how thin the bedding is). Ive had better coffee and better shampoo/conditioner at other Mariotts. Not a 'bad' place...but if you want a nice getaway...try somewhere else. No restaurant in this one...Cranberry Mariott has one of the BEST restaurants we have ever eaten at. (pretty pricey though, but worth it).

Outstanding Hotel

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. I would definately stay at the hotel again when in the Pittsburgh area.

Great room, pricey.

I found the hotel to be very nice, comfortable, and clean, with a great breakfast, nice pool, and great location. I found the room to be pricey. Normally we stay at Embassey Suites, and while this room was nice, it wasnt an Embassey. Once we were in the area, there is not many hotels at all to choose from, with this kind of class. So I guess the price suited the area, but the overall experience wasnt worth the money.

Comfortable!

We stayed here for our daughters graduation from the University of Pittsburg. Although the hotel was further than I thought from the school and traffic was always backed up due to construction we had a nice stay. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Thanks for a nice stay.

Great Place to Stay

Stayed at this hotel on a Friday night so my daughter could attend a concert in a nearby venue - much cheaper than staying in Pittsburgh and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff very personable and helpful. The only drawback to these Marriott hotels is no restaurant on site, but plenty of places nearby here (next to Pittsburgh Mills Mall). Overall, great hotel at a reasonable price.

Hope you like the sound of trucks @ 2am, 3am, 4am.....

First of all, it's a new hotel. Fairly clean... I found hairs in the sink, shower and floor. They didn't tell anyone, but they were ripping up their parking lot, so I had to park a 1/2 a blook away.... not cool, I couldn't keep an eye on my truck. But I leave the best for last... the hotel is in the middle of a large new mall. Normally this is great... lots to do, lots to see. What they don't tell you is, that the road behind the hotel is the shipping route for ALL the stores. ALL night long, even with the air conditioner on, I kept getting up with the sounds of 18 wheelers back and forth, back and forth. Each night I was there I was up 3,4 5 times easily. I told the manager how disappointed I was and all she could do was look at me sheepishly. Never again.

Beautiful and Convenient !!

We needed a hotel close to a wedding and also to shop for "back to school". We were very pleased to find this hotel right where we needed to be. Only problem, it was so nice that my family didn't want to leave! Not even to shop! We will be back...it was great!

nice for the price

the hotel was in very close range to our point of interest. the desk clerk was very friendly and called to make sure we were satisfied with the room. the room was very clean and nicely decorated. my only complaint would be that the rate was rather high. i have stayed in hotels just as nice in the pittsburgh area for a lower price. nonetheless, our experience was pleasant.
