No hot water

Hotel is right by the airport, 10 minutes away from the Altstadt or a brisk 40 minutes walk. The neigborhood is drab and the hotel is dated. Rooms are small in size with single beds and lousy pillows. Curteous front desk staff but overwhelmed with issues about hot water, bookouts, and unable to assist with dinner reservations. There was no hot water, the gym was closed (actually, the hotel has no gym but guests can use the sports facilities of the university next door - those facilities were closed for the holidays), the wifi was down, light fixtures in the hallway were out ... Hallway noise (solid wooden doors slamming) can be overbearing, as is noise from adjoining rooms, amenities exclude shampoo. Certainly not a 4 star hotel. Innsbruck is a lovely town though - shame this hotel doesn't live up to its promises.
