Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 52Great Place
For the price, this was everything we expected. Nothing to fancy, but perfect for a weekend in wine country.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 2 of 52Very Dated
This was a very dated hotel. Everything was clean but circa 1968. The AC unit jolted us out of sleep each time it kicked on. Staff was very nice however.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 52Eclectic yet comfy
Each room in this hotel is different. Ours was peculiar in that there was no actual bathroom. There was a room with only a toilet which doubled as the closet as it had a pole with hangers. WHO wants to hang their clothes in a small enclosed area with a toilet?? Not me! The sink was in the open area across from the commode room. Also in the main room was a very small shower unit. Watch out if you drop your soap! Then in the middle of the main room was the bed and then not far from that, a free standing gas fireplace to heat the room. THen beyond that was a jacuzzi tub. We did have a lovely view of the cove and the breakfasts and dinner at the hotel were good. It was very convenient to the wedding we were attending so I have no complaints--not all rooms had the setup that ours had.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 52Nice rooms, pity about the staff
Really enjoyed the room, especially being able to sit out on the patio in the evening with our wine and cheese! Just a pity that the location is a little further out from Sonoma Plaza than we realised. Also, not all the staff were that helpful. Great breakfasts at the cafe next door though!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 52Comforting and Welcoming Hotel
This was an incredible Inn that felt like home. When I arrived at the hotel, the customer services was exemplary and she had plenty of coupons and discount cards for local wineries. The room was beautiful and the bed was comfortable. I loved the outside patio-it was enclosed and had a darling fountain. It was a perfect way to relax. I have already recommended this hotel to my boss and plan on staying there again when I go back to Sonoma. Plus there is a cafe right next door! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 52Great customer service
We had a brief but nice stay at Sonoma Creek Inn in August 2009. We were looking for affordable but safe, quiet and clean--and the place certainly met our expectations. Where the inn exceeded our expectations was in customer service. We arrived early for our check in and Shana was wonderful and very accommodating, we were able to get right in and she helped us with directions and suggestions. The room was clean and comfortable with a very large bathroom. We will stay here again, only next time for a longer stay.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 52Great room for the money
We wish it had been closer to town, but otherwise it is a great little room especially for the price!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 52Good room for the money
I always look for reviews before booking at a place where I have not stayed before. Sonoma Creek is a very quaint Inn. It isn't fancy and there are no "frills", like the big hotel chains, but rooms are very clean and it was a comfortable place to stay when you have to watch your budget. I especially appreciated the friendliness of the staff. They were very helpful. The little cafe around the corner served a very nice breakfast. We enjoyed our pleasant stay!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 52Great value
I was a little apprehensive about this hotel since the rate was so low and since it has just two stars, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a great value for the money. Nice sized room, nice bathroom with room to put down your stuff. And it's a five-minute drive to the center of Sonoma.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 52Very good hotel
Cute as a button! The lower level rooms have a little patio and the rooms themselves are really nice. Not as central as the hotels at Sonoma Plaza, but good if you don't want to spend too much money on a hotel room, but still expect a clean and nicely decorated room. We really liked it!
