Nice Room for the price

I like Coconut Grove a lot because of the restaurants, bars and stores. Because of that I think the location is excellent. However, if you are too sensitive about the noise, you won't appreciate how close some of those places are.

Good hotel

With the exception of the noise from the night-club next door (even affected the 18th floor) and the ongoing refurbishment of the swimming pool - it was a good hotel, with courteous staff and it felt fine even for a family of 4 staying 5 nights.

Very Nice Hotel

Great looking room and lobby furnishings. Beautiful views of bay/ocean, coconut grove, key biscayne, downtown miami. Friendly and helpful staff. Steps away from numerous restaurants at all price levels, movie theater, shops, marina, parks. Pet friendly. Also very reasonably priced.

Great, but...

I love this hotel. The only bad thing is that there is a club across the way if you have "city view" and you can hear the music at night.

Great Hotel - Will Definitely Stay Again

This was an excellent hotel. Very friendly staff that went out of their way to find me information when I needed it. Room was promptly and thoroughly cleaned. Bed was one of the more comfortable beds my wife and I have experienced at a hotel, even compared to 5 star hotels. Only gripes: I wish the bar was open later and that the valet parking was complimentary. Overall, great stay.

Very Nice Hotel

The Sonesta Bayfront Hotel in Coconut Grove has grown on me over several stays this past year. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is quite good. Room appointments are very nice. Street noise in rooms located on the Coco Walk side of the hotel is my only complaint.

Nice, but noisy

The hotel and staff were great. Unfortunately, due to the location of the hotel to nearby nightclubs, we were unable to get any sleep from all the noise (music). Our room was on the 19th floor and I couldn't believe we were still able to hear the bustling going on downstairs. If you decide to stay at this hotel, I would suggest getting a room with a view of the bay

You may not want to stay at one. I thought it was ok. Realize that people live there & some may (or do) resent interlopers in the common areas.

Gesat Hotel Great Location

The hotel and staff were great. The pool, bar and resturants were very nicely set up. Parking inside the hotel is $23 per night but parking around the hotel was 1/2 the cost. Recommended Hotel.
