The Grove, the Sunset Strip, Hollywood and the Silent Movie Theater are less than two miles from the property. Rodeo Drive sits two miles from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Renovated in 2006, the hotel features an on-site spa, LeSpa, which provides full spa services throughout eight treatment rooms with complimentary martinis on Thursdays. Select services are offered in guestrooms and poolside. Wireless Internet access is available in the Sofitel Los Angeles' lobby. The on-site restaurant, Simon LA features Celebrity Chef Kerry Simon's signature atmosphere and food dishes. A business center showcasing three workstations, high-speed Internet access and a printer is located near the lobby.
Guestrooms. The Sofitel Los Angeles provides 295 guestrooms and 28 suites. Thick, soft mattresses are overlaid with featherbeds, lightweight down comforters, ivory linens and billowy, overstuffed pillows. Standard amenities include cable television and wireless Internet access. All-tile bathrooms feature large see-through glass showers with rain showerheads, bathrobes and Roger and Gallet toiletries. The hotel also honors pets by providing complimentary packages including sleeping cushions, bowls and treats.
Expert Tip. The Stone Rose Lounge sits in the lobby of the Sofitel Los Angeles. Created by nightlife-proprietor Rande Gerber, the Stone Rose Lounge is open 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. seven days a week and offers VIP accommodations, signature drinks, outdoor cabanas, an outdoor fire pit and dinner menu. After 9pm, the velvet rope comes up so guests can expect to wait for their chance to get in, if they are on the "list". The lounge is a very dress to impress atmosphere and a great place for celebrity watching.
