Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 33Totally waste of time and money!!!
The check in clerks were jerks, the beds were hard, cant turn off the ceiling fan so it was freezing in room all night. Had to park down the hill and walk forever to your room.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 33Very Nice
Roomy. Nice continental breakfast. Very close to bus stop (free bus). Note that internet computer & WiFi are free in lobby; but extra charge for WiFi in your room.

Snowmass Inn as a name of this place is misleading, as there is nothing inn-like about it. It is a basic, no frills room (cheap blanket, sheets, pillow, 70s style decor) with cable TV and a coffe maker. [No complaints about the towels.] The breakfast options were plenty for continental (4 kinds of cereal + a good granola, 3 types bread/engl muffin, 2 juices, hard boiled eggs, fruit out of a can + jelly/ PB), though definitely leaning toward quick to prepare (pre-packaged) and cheap. Convenient as it is right next to the Snowmass "mall"." A nice surprise out the back door was the garden. A not so nice surprise was the cigarette smoke wafting thru my window from those out on the balcony.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 33Econolodge experience
After reading the reviews before I booked this hotel, it didn't expect much, and the hotel wasn't all that great. Just a basic clean place to sleep, but an OK value for the area. The breakfast was OK. There are free buses to Aspen if you want to avoid driving and parking problems there.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 33Great room for the money
Hotel was fine. Stayed during the "off"season so there was no staff available after like about 5pm and the Village was deserted but other than that it was great, especially for the price.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 33Great value
The Snowmass Inn is an older property and gives you a good value for the price. The grounds are well maintained. The rooms are roomy with plenty of storage space. The beds were comfortable enough. It provided what we needed at an affordable price.

If cost is more important than comfort, this is for you. Our room had a beautiful view of the slopes and the mountains (not all do). Fairly roomy compared to budget hotels. Pillows pathetic and sheets kept coming off the mattress, see title :) Free parking is a hassle. Breakfast pretty basic.

You can stay in a nicer hotel room a few miles away.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 12 of 33It was OK
Had some trouble with the door lock. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. The light switch when entering the room didn't work. These were minor items for me.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 33Great room for the money
Great room and location for the money. There were no other hotels that we could afford in the same location as this one. The room was huge and clean. I admit it is not a new hotel but if you want clean and close to everything at an affordable price, then this is the hotel for you.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 14 of 33Good stay
Great location, nice pool and hot tub. It's an older building, but everything is nice inside.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 15 of 33good location, poor quality
Water was shut off on day two. Had to call for service. Tiny tv. Low quality beds. Packet of coffee but $1 for a 2nd? Other hotels in the area are priced similarly and I'm betting are better.
