Nice hotel in safe area

We stayed at this hotel for a night, for my wife had a job interview downtown the next day. The location is convenient, right next to the highway, although the entrance was a little bit hard to find. My room didn't have soap, so I called front desk and was treated very nicely. Pros: The staff were very friendly, and the rooms are pretty nice. Cons: The internet connection goes on and off, even with sites like google. The pillows were too soft and we both had neck/back aches when we woke up. Not very good for people who like hard pillows. But at the end, I would recommend staying at this hotel.

Great Value - Friendly staff

I would give this hotel "Two Thumbs up". Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will certainly keep this hotel on my list of places to stay when I find myself in the Cleveland area in the future.

Great value

I was impressed with the value that this hotel offered. The facility is very nice and my room was on the upscale side. The interstate is very close and it's a 15 minute drive to downtown, and a mile drive to Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The only part that I did not like was the noisy night-time construction on the highway which could be heard clearly in my room.

outstanding hotel

our room was very clean and comfortable. the hotel staff was very friendly. also the hotel is very convient to many activities and very close to downtown. plus you didn't have the grittyness of downtown. they had a shuttle van also that was convient. the pool was much better then most hotels. the hot tub was just okay and the workout room was adequate.

Gross

The hotel lobby looked nice and the pool was nice. The room we stayed in was very gross. There were stains on the floors, walls, and sheets. The stains on the sheets looked like blood and had to request new sheets. The bathroom was dirty as well. On the inside of the shower curtains were three boogers at about eye level. Speaking of eye level, that was the height of the shower head. I am not a very tall person, and I had to duck to rinse my head off. I also hit the back of my head on the shower head because it was so low. The free breakfast was much better than I thought it would be. The restaurant on the lobby floor is clean, had a nice wait staff, and a decent variety of food. Unfortunately, the dirty room was a deal breaker and I will never stay there again.

Needs Improvement

The best part of the stay was the included morning breakfast. Nice service and decent eats. The staff was neither bad or excellent - not what I was expecting for what we paid. The room left a bit to be desired. Sheets felt old and rough, the bathtub had tiny bugs, and just all around the room didn't feel fresh.

"Best Deal for the money"

This is hands down the nicest hotel for the price! I have stayed in many hotels that cost more and they couldn't touch the comfort,decor and service of this place. The bathtub drain was slow to drain but other than that I was completely satisfied. The free breakfast buffet is also a plus as well.

Staff was Awesome!!!! Great Hotel Stay

We were so pleased with stay at Skyline.. The staff was Awesome from Barb the Housekeeper to Robert the shuttle driver... Everyone was great and food was really good!! Would definately stay again!
