We quite enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was large and comfortable and the service was better than average. We didn't actually get a chance to use the pools and/or hottubs, but my wife said she passed by and they were very nice. It is right smack in the middle of Snowmass Village, among everything and about 20 minutes out of Aspen. Good location. The only "issue" is parking because you have to park outdoors a few blocks away, though I believe that is basically true of most hotels in the same area. It wasn't really that big of an issue for us peronally...

We spent one night there. It is conveniently located in the center of Snowmass Village. Plenty of activities during the evening. Might be a little noisy for some people, but it is pretty quiet during the night. The room and bath are clean. The view around the hotel is beautiful. The air condition does seem to work. But it doesn't matter as the room temperature is just right during the summer.

We have stayed at the Silver Tree before, nice hotel but like all others in Snowmass no Air Conditioning. Really needs AC.

Excellent location, very friendly staff. Lay-out of hotel not ideal ... it was up two elevators and a very long walk to my room.

Nice room w/ great access to the mountain. Great views and amenities. Good service and polite staff. Great place to stay if you want the conveinence of a resort on the mountain with a full service staff to accomodate your requests and awesome location.

Silver Tree was an ok hotel for the money. Pretty straight forward as an accomodation. A lot of noise carried from the hallway, and with late night revelers kept us up much of the night. If there's not a local event, there might be less noise...

Pros- Great customer service, clean rooms, beautiful surroundings. Nice for a dog friendly hotel. Cons- The shower didn't get hot for about 15 minutes every time i used it. Ok for the summer... not in the winter. Also (and a VERY big no-no for me) maid service ignored my "DO NOT DISTURB" sign and cleaned the room anyway. Not ok. Two small pools were not impressive and the hot tub had TONS of dead flies in it. Gross.
