    Hotel is in a centralized location, good to reserve through a US site, bc of the euro-dollar conversion. very centrally located, see about getting a room off the main street, it can get a bit loud.

Location. Silken Ramblas, constructed for the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain, stands one block from La Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter. The property is located 500 metres from Passeig de Gracia and one kilometre from the Picasso Museum.

Hotel Features. A brightly designed lobby leads to the hotel's restaurant, Ebano. Main courses focus on Mediterranean and international fares. The hotel's business centre offers fax, photocopy, and print services. Two conference rooms accommodate events, the largest of which hosts up to 200 people. One room, the salon MACBA, is located on the fifth floor and features natural light and a terrace. High-speed Internet access is available in public areas of the hotel.
