Great room for the money

Nice room with the new furniture, free safe and TV with 3 English channels. 20 meters from metro-very convenient location. Friendly staff English-speaking.

Cool hotel

Hotel was nice overall. Bed was very comfortable and the price was perfect compared to other near by hotels. The location is a bit of a walk to Ramblas if thats what your looking to get into. Otherwise its right next to the metro which is super convient. I enjoyed my stay here!

A tad far from the action...

The location is far from all the main attractions and it's in a neighborhood that weirds me out a bit at night. Try the breakfast...it's 15 Euro but VERY good.

good value but some annoying quirks

Beds were very hard! I think the floor would have been more comfy. Staff hardly spoke English. Not a full service hotel...no room service and the "spa" was a massage table in a conference room! The hotel is near a hospital so you hear ambulances all day and night! I would only recommend because it was a lot cheaper than other hotels!

Very good room for the money

Desk assistance was exceptional for directions and storing luggage. Hotel location was great if taking a cruise as well as walking to many major sites in the area. The only complaint was that the interior showed wear and was in need of updating. However, the room and bath were clean. In spite of the flaws, it was a exceptional value for the location.

Needs Improvement

This hotel was a big disappointment. There was no A/C working at the time of year I was there even though it was warm enough outside to require A/C. Staff hardly spoke English and knew little about anything. The carpeting was filthy and was not vacuumed during our three-day stay. No washcloths. One bar of soap for both the sink and tub. The only redeeming factor was that there was free wireless internet in the room.

Leaky ceiling

Our ceiling leaked due to the faulty air conditioner. They said that they fixed the problem, but then did not. The dripping from the ceiling at night was like water torture. They did not offer us any compensation, and did not move us as the hotel was full. They finally moved us on our last night and did not offer anything for our troubles. We should have known when we walked in the first day and there was an odor in the room. It turns out that that was probably mold which we are highly allergic to. Concierge was not very helpful either.
