Great View

Our room had a great ocean view and was larger than we expected. The decor could use some updating. We would definitely come back if we were staying for a couple of days. There was a small fridge and microwave if we wanted to bring our own food. The access to the beach was also right next to the hotel. A walk on the beach or shops is easy to do.

Always a pleasant experience

We have stayed at the Ocean Shores Shiloh Inn on several occassions. They are the only major hotel in town that allows guests to bring pets with them. We have always been extremely satisified with the prompt, professional, and coutreous service that we have received from the staff. This time we won a drawing for a free night's stay so we extended our vacation. How could we say anything bad about that?

Great room for the Hotels.com price

Everything was what we paid for and maybe a little more. We only stayed one night and it just so happened to be the day(s) the pool was broken - it was only 65F - brrr. I will definately stay there again.

Fabulous Location

A comfortable hotel with a fantastic view and location. It does feel like you have stepped back into the 80's, it does need a bit of updating. The room was comfortable and clean and even with the gorgeous view, wild life outside our balcony and perfect weather...all my kids could talk about was the TV in the Bathroom. Roomy and nice place for a family stay. Next time we will bring the dog...only with the dogs, you stay on the first floor.

very noisy between floors

Nice place but very noisy between floors. If constant banging and footfall doesn't bother you it's ok.

Room was terrific; restaurant needs improvement

The room was wonderful with a good view of the ocean, mini-fridge, microwave, electric fireplace, and 3 TVs (one in the bathroom). We attempted to eat in the restaurant because we'd heard it had great seafood, but the temperature was way too high. It was a beautiful 70+ outside, but a balmy 80+ inside. I said something to the hostess about why we were leaving, but I got the impression that they already knew the temp was very high, and they had no plans to change it (not that there was any problem, just they didn't seem to care).
