    ..I was disappointed to see how much the hotel has to "defend itself" from guests and tourists. I like the sign at the elevators saying that "Only Hotel Guests Allowed Past This Point", but then realized the situation when I read the notice in the room stating that the mini bar will be empty as of 9/30. Clearly guests were stealing drinks and snacks, which put the hotel on the defensive. Theres also a clear notice on the toilet as to why it doesnt heat up, and theres a reason for that, too. I feel bad that the Excel has to put up with such guests/tourists, but I guess thats the business. The hotel itself is very clean and the view from the 24th floor over Shibuya Crossing was amazing. The front desk was happy to accomodate this request upon check in and check out was a breeze. Overall a great experience.

Location. Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu is set in a 25-story tower located next to the Shibuya train and bus station in the Shibuya shopping and entertainment district of Tokyo, Japan. Bunkamura and NHK Hall stand one kilometer from this property.
