The elevator was noot working and every time we need to use elevator it took 10 to 15 minutes to get the elevator, which was very difficult. The staff was not very helpful either.May be understaffed. We had paid good money to have more staff to help guest.

"Needs Improvement"

We were there and the elevator was not working. We were on higher floor and every time we need to go down we had to call operator to send the elevator . Most time they were busy so we had to hold the phone for at least 5-7 minutes before we get to speak to someone to send the elevator up and also after talking to someone we still had to wait another ten minutes or more for the elevator which was very disappointing. Also after paying higher price there was a charge for the parking and also for breakfast.

Nice Hotel

The Sheraton Vancouver in my opinion was an excellent choice,just as luck would have it. The hotel staff were extremely courteous and attentive to our needs, the room was in good condition and we stayed on the 11th floor with a view of the mountains. My only complaint was that the elevators were broke down from the time we arrived and everyone in the hotel had to share one elevator as you had to make a phone call every time you needed to go to the lobby or otherwise.We were promised it would be fixed ASAP, but by the end of our three nights...NOTHING. Other tenants I talked with had been there days before I and had the same issue, I don't know how a hotel of this caliber could not or would not correct this problem immediately. It is my opinion that the management did not care if the elevators got fixed or not,but I would bet money if the Olympics were to begin, all elevators would have been up and running immediately.

Great room for the money

Surrey is a bit of driving from Downtown Vancouver. As I visit Vancouver about 3-4 times a year, I don't know why I have not thought of staying away from downtown. For one thing, parking is cheap $6/night versus $30/night for most downtown hotels. Also, average rate was cheaper for the quality of rooms that we got for this time of stay.

Great hotel and conveniency of location

I am a faithful customer of the Sheraton hotel, love to go there as the staff members are friendly, smiling and welcoming you. The rooms are always very clean, great services and good location as the Guildford mall is just across the street and the HWys 1 East or West are right there... I do recommend to stay at the Sheraton which is up to their reputationS!

Convenient Location

This Sheraton was convenient to all our meetings and events. We would consider staying there again on our next visit.

Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel

Very nice, clean, modern hotel. Better than average room, room size, bathroom. Hotel bar was nice and the restruant was very good with an excellent buffett. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great Stay

The only time I encountered the front desk or anyone from the hotel was upon check-in and check-out. I tip the housekeeping staff daily... it is a habit. They took great care of our room. The hotel is just a bit out from Vancouver at about 20 Km. but were the trip. Comfort and convenience is important. The Sheraton Guildford has it all.

nice but parking is expensive

The hotel was very beautiful and immaculately maintained. The location is not very good because of the traffic and parking spots are no where to be found. The hotel parking fee of $34 per night is not reasonable. Later, I found out you can park for $8 per hour which is better but still not reasonable. The service and room is excellent. The restaurant is very nice but a bit pricey for the sandwhich lunch we had.

Nice hotel - friendly staff. Little far from down town vancouver - but overall - a better place to stay.

Great Hotel.

We had a room on the 14th floor with nice view of the surrounding city. It is outside of Vancouver (about 15-20 min drive). Beautiful, comfortable and modern furnishings. Would definitely stay in another Sheraton.
