Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 50Mr.
The hotel is very good. The only negative was that upon arrival in the isolated area reserved for guest arrival, in front of the hotel, we were met by a vagrant who insisted on being given $5.00. We remained in the car as we felt somewhat threatened. This episode lasted what seemed to be a long time before he finally moved on.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 2 of 50Outstanding Hotel
The extra room or 'suite' was well worth it.We will return to this hotel every trip we make to Wilmington, Delaware The desk personnel was terrific, as was the housekeeping night staff. And a hotel executive went way out of his way to return a very small item left in the suite. NRK

We have stayed here a number of times and always had a good experience. Free internet has been added to the basic amenities.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 5 of 50some good...some bad...
The hotel staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The elevators were SLOW!!!! The Sofa in our room was gross.... I hated even touching the cushions when we had to take them off to make the sofa-bed. The actual beds were really comfortable... unfortunately, the sofa-bed was not.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 50Outstanding Hotel
This hotel was better than I had expected. People were very accommodating. The only negative was they charge $16.00 to park in their garage. As guests we thought we should not have to pay it but it's a small negative. I will probably go again next year for the Italian Festival in Wilmington DE.

If you need to be in downtown Wilmington, this is a good choice. Caveat: It is very easy to get lost in downtown Wilmington! Hotel had nice suites and is well maintained. Location is just off I95.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 11 of 50Was a great hotel until they started starching the sheets
The hotel has everything going for it - good location, good service, and a well maintained facility. However, don't expect to get a good night's sleep. The high-threadcount sheets are so heavily starched that they make crinkling noises that will wake you up and they don't stay in place.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 50Great room for the money
I was extremely pleased with the hotel staff, very friendly and informative. The suite was more than spacious, but the couch had soil spots on it. Parking was not free and the spaces were extremely small. For the money I would certainly go back and recommend it to family and friends.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 50Great Rooms! Good Prices
I am traveling to Wilmington most weekends over the next 8 months for some classes that i am taking. What great rooms and prices! Comfortable, big rooms with separate living rooms. The surrounding neighborhood is like a ghost town on weekends, so there's not much perusing the bustling downtown area. But otherwise, this is a great place to unwind, go swimming, work out, and take it down in your comfortable room.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 15 of 50Excellent Room
Truly beautiful suite at a very reasonable rate. The hotel is easily accessed from I-95, about half a mile and 2 minutes off the highway. Make sure you bring the directions as it uses an exit that is more of a back street and the way to go is not obvious. Did not use the hotel parking because access was blocked by a bus when we arrived. But it turns out that metered street parking is free on the weekends so we left the car where we parked the first time. Check-in took less than a minute. All in all very pleased.
