My favorite Kansas City hotel

Upscale, gorgeous, beautiful furniture in the rooms, excellent front desk staff, excellent price, wonderful restaurant.

Really nice room, really comfortable bed

No complaints about this place. Had a couple of days to just get away close by, and this was the spot. Nice room, comfortable bed, good location to access activities around KC. Fully recommend. Yep, there was a charge for wireless access in the room (free in the lobby, I think), but I thought it was a reasonable rate.

great experience

This is a great hotel with many convenient restaurants and services directly attached to the building. The water park looked like a lot of fun though we were unable to participate. There was a wireless internet fee though the TV in the room advertized it as a free service. Our room faced west providing a great view on the sports complex and the downtown sky line.

Great Place to Stay

Great amenities. Close to shopping and not too far from downtown.

Pretty darn good

The room was clean and quite comfy, but the hallway by the elevator had trash that was not picked up during our stay (one day). There was a convention staying there, and it was a little noisy, but nothing unbearable. Plus, with kids, you could totally avoid the waterpark -- a real lifesaver in my book!

nice, near Arrowhead

This is a great place to stay if you are going to a game at either ballpark. They had a free shuttle to the Chiefs game. My daughter enjoyed the pool and weight room. We did not use the water park that is attached but it looked great for little kids. The elevator to our 5th floor room was difficult to catch for a ride down. And our room was very cold even though I turned the heat up to 85.

Wonderful stay

We were there for our honeymoon. We had the pool and hottub all to ourselves. The front desk went out of their way to give us directions, and suggestions for dinner and entertainment. It was very quiet and comfortable. The only thing I would have changed was the size of the bathroom. Other then that, rated it a 10.

Good stay, but room for improvement

We had a good stay, however, the TV quit working on the first night. We called the front desk, however, it was not resolved until the next day. Also, on the first day, the water in the hot tub was very dirty and not very warm. Much improved on the 2nd and 3rd day. The biggest disappointment was having to pay each day to use the internet. I felt this was rediculous, however, the bed was extremley comfortable and the room was very clean. I would not stay here again though if I needed internet, it was too expensive.

could not change the thermostat to the room which made it very uncomfortable. allthough a certain temp would be ok for most,this was not the case and would be better for the guest to be able to change as neccassary.
