Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 148Great Location
The hotel was a perfect location for going to Sonoma and Napa. The hotel also has a great walking path you can access from the parking lot. It is part of a local wetlands\marsh area. I enjoyed peaceful walks everyday I was there. Bed was extremely comfortable! Would definitely stay here again

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 148Very Nice, but Employs Sneaky tactics
We had a very nice stay. Room was very clean, etc. It wasn't until we were on our way to check out that I noticed on the back of the key envelope we'd been given at check-in (I usually throw them out!), in small type-face, a notice that we would be charged a small fee for a daily newspaper UNLESS we checked a box and returned the envelope to the front desk. Thankfully it was a small charge, but the sneaky way in which it is "offered" to the guests is reprehensible. I believe the tactic is called "Negative Option" Marketing and it leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 148Great Place, Clean Rooms, Good Restaurant
The hotel was wonderful. The restaurant served a delicious breakfast and lunch. There is a walking/running/biking trail next to the hotel (or you can even just walk around the hotel where there are boats in the Marina). Very convenient location, right off the Exit. Moreoever, very convenient if you are the touring Sonoma wineries. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 148Great find in wine country
We stayed here 3 nights and were very impressed by this hotel. We actually chose to eat at the hotel's restaurant more than once because the food was so great-- lots of local, fresh fare offered and friendly service. Room was clean and quiet. Two extra added bonuses: a great masseuse on the premises and a guest laundry machine-- made our day. Not a walkable neighborhood but 5 min drive to cute downtown Petaluma. Would stay there again-- this hotel was a majorly great deal.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 12 of 148Convenient location
The Petaluma location was convenient for trips to and from San Francisco and wine country. It took approximately 30 minutes to get to Napa Valley and 20 minutes to get to Sonoma Valley. We also were able to visit some great wineries north in the dry creek valley and didn't feel confined to the touristy napa valley area. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and at the top of its class.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 13 of 148Good room for the money
Staff got me into my room earlier so that I could change for the wedding I was attending and I appreciated that. My room was quite comfortable except the bedside lamp was not working. I ate in the cafe and had excellent service and good food.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 148Clean hotel at reasonable prices
You could tell that this was a rather new hotel, as it's very clean, well-lit, comfortable, with a staff that is very willing to answer any question. My only problem, was that it wasn't that convenient to the Wine Country. On a map, it looks much closer, however, with no traffic, it takes a good 35-40 minutes to get to downtown Napa. There isn't much around the Sheraton, however, it's conveniently located off the highway, and is a bit of an oasis. A very comfortable stay!
