Hotel is more than adequate. If you desire to leave resort taxi is very expensive

sheraton hacienda overcharged my card

the sheraton hacienda in los cabos is too far away from down town cabo and the taxi mafia down there practically robs you everytime you want to go anywhere. the hotel overcharged my card without my authorization and i still have not gotten compensated for the overcharge. we paid extra for a working jacuzzi tub in our hotel room, which of course was broken and did not work. and to top it all off, none, i repeat none, of the hotel workers know what the hell is going on in their own hotel. such as, what time is happy hour, where is it at, where should we go for dinner..etc etc..

Great location to get away from it all

Although it's a $20 cab ride into town we wouldn't have traded the Sheraton's location for one closer. If you're looking for a weekend to get away from it all this is the right place to do it. The property is so large that you really do feel like you are on an exclusive beach.

needs updating

I stayed in 2 different rooms and both needed som TLC. for instance: coffee makes did not work in either room, dangerously frayed electrical cord in one and malfunctioning machine in other. Phone did not have a dial tone in one room and was never fixed. Keyes (cards)n did not work a couple of times which necessitated a long walk back and forth to checkin area.
