Great room for the money

The room was very spacious and had a wide screen T.V. My only disappointment was that there was no microwave oven in the room.

"Great room for the money"

We had a great stay and the room was very comfortable. Close to all the things we wanted to do.

Mostly satisfied

The hot water in the shower takes a while to heat up and no matter how much I turned down the thermostat the temperature never changed and the room was a bit stuffy. Other than that they had a very friendly and helpful staff and very comfortable beds.

Good Location

Friendly staff. Easy walk to riverwalk, alamo, downtown. Outdoor heated pool was a plus for the kids in November. Elegant hotel, nicely decorated. But it is showing a little wear. If you don't want to pay for valet, you can self park in the garage across the street for $12.

Over all it was Okay, I was on the 4th floor facing st mary's street and it was very noisy, Trash pick up at 4:30 on thursday morning was unpleasant. Carpet di not look clean. Have stayed there seeral times probally won't the next time I'm in SanAntonio

Avoid This Hotel

The room was tiny. The hotel room was unacceptably loud. The lobby was always packed with people who appeared not to be guests. Non-guests apparently use the valet parking for events at the theater across the street, too, so I had to wait to get checked-in and valeted while those people were helped. So much for putting guests first. I i did not sleep at all the first night because of the street noise. The front desk offered to move me the next day, but with only one more night left to stay there, why should I deal with that inconvenience? Things were a little better the second night, until the guests in the next room started screaming while making love. It was disgusting, and woke me right up. I decided to leave. The clerk sure could have cared less, and when I commented on the noise, he just said "what do you expect, this is a downtown hotel." Well, you can keep your downtown hotel.

Great hotel. Everyone was very professional. Proximity to the riverwalk area was perfect for us! We'll be back

GREAT HOTEL

THE HOTEL WAS GREAT, THE ONLY THING I WAS DISAPPOINTED ABOUT WAS THE ONLY PARKING AVAILABLE WAS VALET PARKING. I DO NOT LIKE VALET PARKING AND HAD MADE SURE THAT "PARKING" WAS LISTED ON THE HOTEL GUIDE. THIS IS MY FAULT IN PART, BUT I THINK THE LISTING SHOULD BE CHANGED TO VALET PARKING. THERE IS A PARKING LOT ACROSS THE STREET WHICH WE USED, COST TO GO IN AND OUT, BUT IT WAS CHEAPER THEN VALET PARKING.

Historical but needs Improvement

The hotel has good customer service and is historicial, but does need some improvement in the room decor and cleanliness. There were little hairs on the bathroom wallpaper to name one of the areas to improve. My room was noisy due to the window facing the busy street and some late-night party-goers going down the hallway after midnight making it hard to get a good night rest. I do like the architecture of the building and the friendliness of the staff.
