    Internet, whether it was through a network cable or wifi, was 20 euros PER DAY. Draft beer cost me 18 euro for 2... That's almost $30 dollars I spent on 24 ounces of beer before I knew what hit me. Food was just as much overpriced as the beer and not nearly the quality expected of a resort such as this one. The resort is completely out of the way. 30 euro cab from airport or 45 euro from Roma Termini. Had I known travel would have been this much of a hassle I would have shelled out more for a smaller hotel closer to Rome or closer to the airport, at least then the train stations would have been easier to reach. Had I visited the resort for the golf experience I may have a different perspective. This is not a hotel for the Rome experience if you are looking for easy access.

Location. The charming Sheraton Golf Parco de Medici is located next to a 24-hole golf course just 18 kilometers from the center of Rome, Italy.

Hotel Features. Formal dining is available at the Savoia Restaurant, which overlooks the golf course. Regional cuisine in a casual setting is featured at Club House Restaurant. Live music, cocktails and snacks are enjoyed at Bar Borgia. Thirty-three meeting rooms, an exhibition area and conference center can accommodate up to 550 people. An on-site business center with Internet access provides additional office support services. Besides the on-site golf course, the hotel provides a fitness facility and outdoor pools. The health facility offers a sauna and Turkish bath. Shuttle service is available.

Guestrooms. Pastel-colored guestrooms offer pool, garden or golf course views, and feature satellite television and Internet access for a fee. Select guestrooms offer private terraces. Bathrooms contain tub/shower combinations, bathrobes and slippers.

Expert Tip. Next to the hotel is an American-style movie mega-plex owned by Warner Brothers, and features several dining options.
