Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 271Great location
Very convenient for walking to restaurants, catching the cable car, view of the bay. Pretty small room but very clean. Took advice to park in the public parking lot just west of the hotel and paid $25 a day instead of $50 a day at the hotel. Close to Chinatown and really good Italian restaurants.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 271Wow!
This hotel more than met our expectations. Not only was it in a convenient location (the only places we drove were to the zoo and the Golden Gate Bridge) but the service was excellent. I would agree with the other reviewers that the price for parking was a little steep but fortunately we were comped our parking on our stay - just one of the many reasons I was impressed with customer service. They really took care of you, the room was extremely clean and everyone in the hotel was smiling and ready to help - not something you find every where these days! Definately would recommend this hotel!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 4 of 271Not the Hotel if you're there on Business
We checked in and had to by 45 dollars per day for parking. The Valet attendant was not present so we had to park our own car TWICE! You can't get out of the parking lot without a validation from the valet attendant. he was nowhere to be found. Needed to use the Business center for printing and faxing around midnight. The Fax machine was turned off. Went to find the front desk attendant or concierge... ah, NO ONE was working the desk. I yelled, I hollered for Any employee that worked in the building... no one answered. I could have walked out the door with the fax machine and no one would have noticed.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 271Terrible Room Configuration
The hotel itself is clean and nice, but the rooms are poorly insulated and configured, so we heard people partying at the outdoor bar ALL NIGHT. The rooms also have light colored drapes, so the hotel outdoor lights keep the room bright all night long. Barely slept - not worth the money! It may have been a frat party.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 271Parking Cost is Outrageous
The cost for parking came to almost double the price quoted when booked, it was more then a third of the cost of the hotel room. Ridiculous!

Trip Type: Family Review 15 of 271Outstanding Hotel
My husband and I stayed at this hotel about 10 years ago. It had been remodeled and enlarged. The decor is just beautiful. We were impressed. Service and staff was great. Very glad we went back and would return to this hotel again. It was in walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39.
