Convenient location, but...

This is a very nice hotel and it was very convenient for our needs. Our only issue with the hotel was that it appeared that only one of the two hotel elevators for guests was operational, which may not have been an issue, had it not been a long holiday weekend, with several special events being held at the hotel.

nice quite stay

good hotel to stay in quite and cozy close to all downtown amenities. (zoo park arch). the main road u come in on was not easy to find.

Great Local

We found out they had a shuttle to and from the airport that worked out great. The drivers are all very nice and helpful. Also you can take the shuttle to other locations with in the city. We used it a lot instead of getting a cab which in St Louis you have to call. You can't flag one down like in NYC. Also the computer in the lobby are were great for checking our email etc. The new Metro is only 2 blocks away and worked out great. We didn't have to park but parking is extra there. So with that in mind we would stay there again!!!

Clean and comfortable room. A little small, so was the bathroom.

Decent Hotel but Elevators Awful

The recent redo of rooms and public areas is quite nice for the price. Air conditioning makes loud noise frequently and wakes people up. Elevators are horrible and it was not unusual to have to wait 5-10 minutes to get down. The hotel needs to address this basic requirement for me ot recommend it.

Great location for a "date night"

For a couple or a business traveler, this property is a great choice. The rooms may be a little small for a family outing (depending on the size of your family), but is perfect couple's getaway. Location is outstanding (several top notch restaurants within walking distance). Clean rooms, good service, and choice amenities including a quality hotel restaurant. No knock on Alexander's (the hotel restaurant), but I would highly recommend dining at some of the local establishments such as Remy's Kitchen and Wine Bar. First Watch is an excellent breakfast choice as well. Try Cafe Napoli for some trendy night life. Enjoy your stay (we certainly did).
