Sheraton Braintree Hotel

Needs improvement

The room was very dated. The bathroom was dingy, peeling paint and wallpaper. The cloth shower curtain has what appeared to be old blood stains on it.

Great for the money

The only complaint was the bathroom not being clean. We did let the front desk know about the condition of the room, and a cleaning supervisor was up with in minutes to clean the bathroom (as there were no other rooms available to move into). We were compensated for our trouble, and I would stay here again. Location and parking were fantastic. Staff was wonderful

Great stay for the price

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. People were friendly and helpful--room was clean. Price was great. The only complaint I have is the stairwells are filthy and smelly. Everything else was great.

Room cleanliness excellent, other services poor

I was very disappointed in the overall quality of service and the amenities available at the hotel for additional cost which should have been included. With the exception of room cleanliness which was excellent, most other encounters I had where I requested service or attention to needed repairs were not attended to during my 5 day stay. The fourth floor room where I stayed was well cleaned daily, but the room itself needed attention-scuff marks on walls, carpet in hallway outside the room not thoroughly vacuumed, large couches in hallway on fourth floor across from vending machines-just some of the details that seemed to escape the notice of the invisible management whose presence was absent or not obvious during my stay. The overall impression I had was of hotel that had seen better days but had fallen in quality of service and attention to detail. It had a quality bordering on seediness-not what I would expect from the Sheridan Hotel brand name which in my other experiences has been synonymous with excellence. 1) Asked at front desk to have light fixed on fourth floor outside elevator where hallway was dark and it was never done in the 5 days I was there 2) Wireless access costs $10.95 per day in the hotel room-this is standard at the small hotel chains and included in the price of the room-a ripoff! 3) Free wireless access in lobby but rock music too loud to allow concentrating on work so could not work on computer- 4) choice of loud rock music very distracting in hotel lobby-why not classical music or soft jazz played at lower volume 5) barkeep in The Taproom refused to turn off the T.V.when requested to do so stating that other patrons would be arriving to watch games-I was the only one there late Sunday morning- he also refused to allow me to sit in an area by the window where I would have been out of range of T.V. I left the restaurant and went elsewhere to dine 6)sign on business center/gift shop states hours are 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. It was rarely

Room was not nice No wireless internet No Free Fitness Room Bed was horrible I travel all the time for business, this place was awful.

pleasant & cheerful

I like the pleasant & cheerful feeling about the hotel. I was visiting relative nearby & I found it convenient to go to Boston downtown using the hotel shuttle to the nearest T-station.

of all the hotels I've ever stayed in, I have never been offered to opt out of having the room cleaned. I LIKED IT!!! Save time, conserve energy and water!

Good Hotel for the Price , but far from Boston

when arrived to the roomi had no internet, the next day the hotel fixed the intemrnet in the room, if you are traveling to boston , you should consider the traffic in the morning and returning back to the hotel afternoon-evening. the overall stay was good, breakfest is not included and cost 19$ for a buffet (not worth it)
