The hotel itself wasn't terrible but I did not like a few things. Well for one, it's connected to the Covention Center so there was alot of traffic in and out of the hotel. When we checked in we weren't informed of nearby attractions or if we would be needing anything. When we went up to our room, which was about 4pm, housekeeping had the hall way a bit congested with cleaning carts and dishes that were left outside the door from other guests not yet picked up. It was not very inviting. When we checked out, we weren't even asked how was our stay. Overall, we probably wouldn't go back.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 19 of 480very beautiful hotel
we stayed on a friday night. in AC all the rooms were expensive but this was the best price in a luxury place. everything was fine. the only thing i can complain about is the valet service was slow.

Hotel was outstanding with a few minuses for example having to pay for parking, no fridge in the room, and no free WIFI....but overall location was great could walk to and from beach. Staff was great I had a couple of business things to take care of with my job and I had to fax, copy, and actually mail off a couple of things and when a staff member realized how frustrating it was begining to be they offered to do it for me, and sure enough it got done in the proper manner!...so kudos to The Sharaton. Also room was clean and the hotel restuarant was great...I would definately stay here again!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 22 of 480Club rooms not worth the extra cost
I stayed with my guest for 4 days in a Club Room, the more expensive rooms on the top two floors of the hotel. It was not worth the extra cost over a normal room. The rooms are exactly the same size, and do not contain the extra amenities the Sheraton website says are included. The main feature of the club rooms is supposed to be access to the Club Lounge, with free continental breakfast and afternoon/evening hors d'oeuvres. In reality, "continental breakfast" consists of bagels, cold cereal or oatmeal (no eggs or other cooked food), and is only served 7AM to 9:30AM. If you're not awake during this narrow window, expect nothing. The afternoon/evening hors d'oeuvres don't exist on Mondays, and are there for only an hour or two other days. The concierge that stands at the door to the lounge stares you down like you're some kind of freebie leech for daring to come. Room service was horrible. There's a room service menu left in the room when you check in, and contains breakfast items only. When you call to order past 11AM, they tell you breakfast is not served; so why is it in the room, with no hours listed? You can order room service during the afternoon and evening from Tun Tavern, a restaurant next to the hotel. However, the number of added fees for doing so was astounding. We ordered $21 worth of food (two dishes, which were small), and got a $45 bill: - Sales tax - Food tax - Beer tax - Automatic Gratuity - $10 Service Fee - $5 Delivery Fee In other words, even assuming you'd pay the same gratuity in the restaurant, you pay *at least* $20 for the privilege of room service. Overall, it's a clean hotel with comfortable rooms, but we expected more for the extra cost of the Club Lounge, and expected more from the room service they say they offer.

The hotel was very clean and staff very helpful. Only need would be to have microwaves in room to be able to reheat food. But overall great service.

This hotel was a little far from the beach for my liking, but, I knew that it might be. It was great. Very clean and we even had 5 towels in our room when we arrived (we were traveling with 2 children). The pool was a little grungy. Service was great!
