Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 55Comfortable Stay
The first thing I noticed as I arrived at the hotel was the great location, at downtown Monterrey. Then, I was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable and tasteful over-sized room and bed. Both qualities were found to be as advertised. Overall, I had a great stay at the hotel. The only thing lacking was free Internet access.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 55NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
GREAT LOCATION AND PRICE, BUT THE ROOMS LOOK OLD, THEY REALLY NEED SOME RENOVATIONS, I HAVE TO CHANGE ROOMS TWICE BECAUSE SOMETHING WASN'T WORKING, FIRST THE SHOWER,THEN THE SAFE, THE THIRD ROOM WAS "FINE" BUT SOMETHINGS LOOK OLD. ON MY THIRD NIGHT THERE, WE GOT A FALSE FIRE ALARM, WEM ALL GOT A REAL SCARE. WITH SOME IMPROVEMENTS IT WOULD BE PERFECT.

my husband and i liked this hotel a lot. Location was great. A lot of restaurants near by and shopping. You can walk to the macro plaza and to the riverwalk (Paseo de Santa Lucia). The attention from the employees was excellent.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 55Quality American Hotel, Low Mexican Price
Sheraton Ambassador Hotel is like any 4 star American hotel, with all the comforts of the USA. Staff all spoke perfect English, the room was top quality. It is very close to the all the museums, monuments and government building in downtown Monterrey. The only annoyance was the local strip club callers a block away. Every time we walked pass going to or from the Hotel we had to endure the aggressive door guys trying to get us to go inside.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 55great value, but few ammenities
Having stayed at many Sheraton's during my career, I was expecting the hotel to have many more ammenities. One central restaurant, a dark dingy bar, and no swimming pool.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 55Great Location
This is a good hotel for the price, a little old but for the price beats many in the US of its kind, the downside was that i paid for a Club Level room with breakfast and when i check in i realize this was not that i was given, the good thing i had my reservation and they did not like that much on giving the room for the price i paid... dont know if it is the Hotel or Hotels.com issue but needs to be clear, specially because the breakfast buffet there is expensive, fourty dollars per person. Another disadvantage is they charge for the internet service, other similar in the area do not, add twenty dollars per day for this service.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 55Great hotel, but check if your AC works
As with other hotels in the area the Sheraton ambassador is beautiful and the service is outstanding. The only problem I had was the air conditioner in the room. I had to move 3 times until finally I got a decent AC. They were very nice about it. Its a great hotel, just make sure your AC is working in the room. And don't unpack until you are sure.Other than that, this hotel is as perfect as any 5 star hotel in the States

Trip Type: Special Event Review 14 of 55Great Hotel
This was not our first stay at the hotel. We had previously stayed here and we decided to make it our hotel at this particular city because of the convenience to close locations, cleanliness, comfort , beautiful views and staff courtesy. It was an awesome stay. We loved the food and the staff help available at all times.

This hotel is beautiful, great location, the service is wonderful, and everything was great. There was not one thing that I did not like about this hotel. I will definetely make this my hotel on next travels to Monterrey. Employees were super nice and attentive to every need. Walking distance to shopping area.
