See more detailsLocation. Seven Gables Inn is located in the Clayton business district of St. Louis, MO. One mile from the hotel is the St. Louis Zoo, Forest Park and Galleria shopping. Downtown St. Louis is 10 miles away.
Hotel Features. The Tudor-style hotel features pitched roofs and wood paneling along the exterior and within the ivy-covered courtyard. The hotel provides complimentary European-style breakfasts and serves soups, salads and sandwiches in the Seven Gables Restaurant and cocktail lounge area. Complimentary wine and cheese receptions are offered Monday through Friday. The hotel features jazz music Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Business services and complimentary wireless Internet access are available throughout the smoke-free property.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms offer pillowtop beds topped with duvets. Complimentary amenities include wireless Internet access, Bissinger's Chocolates at turndown, and weekday newspapers. Each guestroom has a private bathroom with Aveda bath products, Voss water, and plush towels and bathrobes. All rooms come equipped with flat-screen televisions and complimentary wireless Internet access. All rooms are nonsmoking.
Expert Tip. This inn is proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1926, the hotel was designed to echo England's Tudor architecture. Its name was derived from Hawthorne's novel, The House of the Seven Gables.
