Needs Improvement

Hotel was clean and nice enough, but the staff was rude and unhelpful

Good value

Little issues like cloudy windows, TV remote didn't work, cable selection was poor. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean.

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK WAS RUDE WHEN WE CHECKED IN. THE POOL CLOSED WAY TO EARLY FOR IT BEING A SATURDAY. WE NEVER EVEN GOT TO USE THE POOL WHICH IS ONE REASON WE BOOKED THERE. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

Great hotel at a great price

I would definitely stay here again the next time I am in Kansas City. It was a great price, and the room was clean and comfortable. If you are looking at a budget, this is a great hotel for you. It isn't a super fancy hotel, but that wasn't what we were looking for. :)

Very close to a decent priced Hotel

The price is very deceptive as there were added charges for our room. Even though we made a change by taking 1 night off our stay in plenty of time, we were penalized. Great service could really tip the scale with this property. I wish they had better cooling systems but I would stay here again.

Not for my worst enemy...

My non-smoking room at the non-smoking Settle Inn was like sleeping in an ash tray. It took 3 days to get a remote for the TV and I never got a clock. The ice machine was broken as was my toilet. When I did receive housekeeping, my fresh towels were delivered wet. I wouldn't stay there again if they paid me the nightly rate.

Decent Hotel, Needs Improvement

Was happy with everything at first until our 2nd room did not have the double beds we originally booked, it all went downhill from there. Our magnetic room key quit working and they couldn't fix it, had to have them come and physically open it every time (all after about 5 very long trips to the front desk trying to fix the card!) Beds were comfortable, but we woke up to find ants all over the place in our room. We were glad to leave but the hotel would be very nice especially for the money if they made a few small, yet very important improvements!

We just love it !!!

It was very nice. The room, beds, etc... No question....we will go back any time we need to go to Kansas City. We do travel a lot and we know about hotels... I just love it !!!!

Great Value

Great value, comfortable beds. The grounds could have been a little cleaner and the staff a little more friendly. It was close to the activities of the event I was attending. I would stay there again.

Outstanding Value

We stayed there over the Memorial Day weekend while attending the Trailblazer SS 2009 National event. The hotel was in a very convenient location for all the events we attended. It's close to the interstate and priced very nicely. Some of the others who attended the Nationals may stay here when we have our event in Overland Park again next year. The four of us who stayed in this hotel were well satisfied with the facilities.
