Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 29Full service hotel
Note that the Grayline bus no longer stops at the hotel and you must take a $9 cab from one of the prior stops to get to the Marriot. All of the staff from the bell captains to the cleaning staff were excellent, the hotel restaurant, bar and snack bar were well appointed and enticing, and you are steps from the waterfront and Pikes Market. The bed we had in 419 seemed to be nearing its usefull life.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 29Great location, nice rooms
This hotel is walking distance to all the great sights in downtown Seattle - the waterfront, the market, and world class restaurants. The rooms were clean and the bedding wonderful.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 29Very Nice Hotel
I like the Marriott chain because they are very consistant. As with other Marriott hotels, the room was comfortable and the staff was friendly. This is a newer hotel close to Pike's street market and within walking distance to most downtown attractions. If you stay at this hotel, beware of the parking fees. I found the self parking garage next to the hotel to be less expensive.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 29Great Location
Excellent hotel in great location near to both the Waterfront and Pike Place Market. Hotel was right across the street from Pier 66 which is location of NCL cruiseline. It was ideal as we got off the boat and simply walked right across the street to our hotel. Hotel was a bit pricey (as are most hotels in downtown Seattle) but was in tip top shape in side. The pool was combination in and outdoor pool (located on 2nd or 4th floor) overlooking the waterfront. Hotel bar had seats outside which was great for having drinks very near the waterfront. We would definitely stay here again if our goal was to be near waterfront. If your desire is to be in central downtown (near shopping and monorail to the Needle), this is not the best location. However, city buses in downtown are free during day time hours and the Red (hop on, hop off) tour bus had stop near by.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 29Overpaid for first night, but mgmt corrected issues the next morning
The hotel was in good condition, however when we got in from our long drive into Seattle from Port Angeles it was almost midnight. The night clerk was less than hospitable and we got stuck paying $34/day for valet because there was no self parking lot for hotel guests...which was not told in advance. However we did have in and out priveledges. :) We got to our room to find the room we were paying premium rate was not what was advertized on this site. There was no balcony, our water view was of another guests room, and the AC was on the fritz and kept us up all night. with horrble rattling. (Before you ask, It was an abnormally hot Seattle night so yes we need AC.) The next morning after we grab some breakfast I spoke to the asst. manager who switched our room but didnt got to the extent of refunding our first night which I know this hotel chain has done for failure of its equipment from my extensive business travel. So I feel we have over paid but the new room was amazing, great view and great room service. Worth the price we paid for the second night. Great room for a romantic weekend away... make sure you get the balcony with a view of the shore. Happy Trails.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 29a little disappointed with service
We checked in after check in time. Only one of our rooms were ready. We had to be on Bainbridge Island at 7pm. I asked for a rollaway to be brought to our room at this time also. We all piled in to my daughter's room and was told they would call us when our room was ready and bring the keys up. After an hour and 3 phone calls; the room was finally ready. When we got back at 12:30 am; still no rollaway. Had to call again and wait a half an hour for the bed to show. Otherwise, the hotel was in a good location and very clean and comfortable.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 292nd Room was awesome!
Well the picture for a king deluxe room involved a suite with a balcony, however, when we arrived at 11:30 pm the check in (not pleasant night clerk) we discovered our room was neither a suite, no balcony and also had a very noisy AC. Usually, no AC in Seattle is fine, but this was the hottest weekend the city had seen. However, we suffered since we were so tired and just wanted to sleep. The next morning the assistant manager remedy the situation and gave us the suite advertised with the room rate on this site. We were very pleased and I must say the sheets and bed comfort of this hotel is to die for... LOVED IT! The preorder breakfast and scheduled daily cleaning was great for us non morning people. Overall a very pleasant stay considering the start we got. I definitely would stay at a Marriott hotel at any of my future travels... Happy Traveling:)

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 29Great room/location for the money
We went on a little mini-vacation with the kids and it was a great location to be able to walk along the waterfront and Pike Place Market. It was a nice hotel, but we were hoping to have a little bit better view of the city. We would definitely stay there again.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 12 of 29Wonderful everything
The seattle mariott was within walking distance to many restaraunts and the pike place market to name a few. The rooms were very nice with a 50" plasma tv & an amazingly comfortable bed. The fitness center was quite large with very nice equipment. The pool was half indoor and half outdoor which I loved. And breakfast at the hotel was excellent. I would definately return to this hotel again & again!

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 29A hotel you can depend on
We live in Seattle - however - whenever we have a special event downtown - we chose to stay at the Waterfront Marriott. The location, service level, dependability of the quality and cleanliness of the rooms are what keep us coming back.
