Sea Spray Suites

Location. Sea Spray Suites is located on Ti Te Beach in Paihia, New Zealand, one kilometer from the Bay of Islands Ferry and two kilometers from the Waitangi Treaty House.

Hotel Features. Sea Spray Suites, a contemporary gray modular structure that houses apartment-style suites, includes two spa tubs, a recreation area and barbecue grills. The hotel also provides dry cleaning service, guest laundry facilities and babysitting. Parking is complimentary. Pets are not permitted in the hotel.

Guestrooms. The three-story hotel (no elevators) includes 30 suites with contemporary décor in gray, muted blues and white. Suites include furnished balconies or patios with ocean views. Amenities include kitchenettes with coffee and tea makers, microwaves, minibars, refrigerators, cookware, utensils and dishes. High-speed Internet access, LCD flat-screen televisions with premium cable channels and CD and DVD players also are included. All rooms also offer hair dryers, irons and ironing boards, sofa beds, washers and dryers and air conditioning.

Expert Tip. The Waitangi Treaty House, New Zealand's most significant historic site, is where Maori chiefs signed a treaty with the British crown in 1840. The former home of a British official, it is one of the country's oldest buildings and was restored to reflect daily life at the time the treaty was signed. Numerous cultural activities and celebrations are held throughout the year at the house and its surrounding grounds.
