Sangho Zarsis Hotel

The Sangho Zarzis is comprised of 365 Moorish whitewashed bungalows, surrounded by palm trees and gardens, and spread down a green hillside to the sandy beach below. Set just three kilometres from the town centre, the air- conditioned bungalows provide guest accommodation Tunisian-style, with tiled floors and patterned fabrics. All open onto terraces and include private bathrooms with showers.

Guests can indulge in a range of treatments in the wellness centre, including essential oil massages, seaweed wraps, reflexology, and lymphatic drainage. The spa baths offer hydrotherapy and a traditional hammam steam room is equipped with hot water jet showers. A tranquil relaxation room, in typical local decoration, is available for use of spa guests and features low level beds, tiled floors and the scent of aromatherapy oils. Additional beauty treatments include facials, manicures and pedicures. While adults unwind at the spa or by the outdoor pool, children aged 3-12 are kept entertained with a programme of daily activities and games at the kids' club. There is also a games room, mini-restaurant, and adventure playground, and the complex even has its own petting zoo complete with farm animals. In the evening guests can head for the nightclub or the terrace bar overlooking the sea, while the hotel also offers a programme of entertainment such as live shows, competitions and dancing. There are three restaurants to choose from, offering Italian, Tunisian, and international cuisine, and a number of bars, including one on the beach and one by the pool. Guests can enjoy a game of tennis on one of six tennis courts, two of which are floodlit. Other onsite recreation comes in the form of miniature golf, table tennis, and bowls. Seasonal water sports are available at the beach at the foot of the hill and include catamaran sailing, water skiing and parasailing. Seaside walks and fishing expeditions are organised by the hotel, and bicycles and scooters can be hired at reception. Djerba Airport is 50 kilometres from the hotel.
