Room was very clean and did not smell musty

The hotel was pretty clean but elevators slow and other reviews were misleading no karoake,no band,resturant closes at 2 pm limited menu and pool small. We where supposed to be in smoking room with King size bed they don't have any so price was high for a regular room. There is no resturants in walking distance, bar was not open at all.

Good location and reasonably priced.

The hotel was directly on the beach and close to restaurants. The view from the balcony is beautiful looking across the ocean. The rooms were surprisingly quiet.

Nice place for a relaxing stay

I took my sister here to celebrate her 40th birthday. She had never been to Myrtle Beach before so I wanted a nice place on the beach so she could enjoy it. A lot of times when you book online you cannot tell if you are really getting oceanfront. But when Sandcastle says all rooms are oceanfront they mean it. We had a nice room on the 12th floor with a beautiful view. The room was clean and well maintained. And the pools and hot tubs were also wonderful. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and stay again.

loved it

the hotel was great. room was clean and comfy. wake up n see the ocean was great. after hanging out n sitting out on the patio was relaxing. i would stay again next time.

Look elsewhere

I spent the first 3 hours of the trip trying to get a room at this hotel because the staff was not helpful and even though my credit card had been charged, they still needed a $300 cash deposit. They were rude and unconcerned that I was miles away from home and without a room. It was far too stressful of an experience; especially going through hotels.com and assuming everything was alright and I had a room secured. I would definitely recommend you look elsewhere for a place to stay!

great hotel!!

We had a great stay here. Rooms were clean. Staff was very nice. Elevators were very quick. Pool and lounge chairs were incredible. Will definately stay there again!!

Great hotel

We really loved this hotel, all of the rooms overlook the ocean, which is nice because many other hotels you may end up with hardly a side view. Very social, with hot tubs, lazy river and Karaoke at night. Only complaint is that we tried to check in early, and the attendant would not even look to see if possibly our room was ready early, but other than that I would deffinetly recommend!

Cost efficient and good location,

Clean, good price for oceanfront rooms. Loved the lazy river, indoor and outdoor pools

Surprisingly "Set The Standard Of What A Hotel Should Be" Hotel

I almost still can't believe what a great value it was. Every room had a view of the ocean. Every room had private balconys with chairs and a table. Every room had flat screen TV's. The room was spotless. And it had a refrigerator, microwave, stove, the whole 9... You know the kind you would expect to see n a Time Share... Two Heated pools, one indoors and one outdoors, one pool wasnt heated but it was a "pool ride", 3 hot tubs, great for kids and family. And they have a bar! Hotels.com found it for me, the price was super affordable. I got to the sandcastle hotel, had my key within moments, made it to the room very quickly with the help of their fast elevators... The trip was made all the better thanks to Hotes.com and Sandcastle Resort Hotel
