Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 26Okay, but expected better
Arrived at 10 p.m. and found lobby locked and instructions to go down the street to a sister hotel to pick up key. Parking at the hotel was very tight. Room had only one lamp, and it was on the dresser. I moved it myself to the bedstand so I could read. Only two electrical outlets in the entire room, and not one by the desk, so I couldn't use my laptop there. Room was a bit cramped, would have been impossible with more than one person. All that said, it was not uncomfortable, but a bit pricey for an off-season beach hotel. Manager was very friendly when I met him the next day. Drawback about the location was no restaurants in easy walking distance. There's a restaurant at the hotel, but it wasn't open for dinner on Saturday night!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 26Amazing hotel
The pool was nice, the BBQ grills provided were a nice touch, the rooms were clean and large with a nice full service kitchen. Room service did an excellent job, and there was nice amount of parking. I would definitely go back.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 26Good for a family
Room clean and neat, staff friendly and helpful. Nephew showed up unexpectedly - asked for a cot or roll away - was told no more than 4 in room because of fire hazard, he would have been the 5th.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 8 of 26Usual Jersey Shore Hotel
It's a typical shore hotel, very old and plain, but it's a great place if you're not planning to be in the hotel room all day. Pool's interior needs some work, though not bad.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 26Bed Bugs!!!!!
I was very dissapointed with this hotel!!!! The mattresses were disgusting and smelled horrible! I have been struggling with bed bugs since my stay unfortunately bought them back home with me and my mother has bought them back as well!!! Unfortunately this place has costed my mother 2 sets of couches, a bedroom set as well as mattress and it costed me my kids bedroom sets my bedroom set living room set and new carpeting aside an exterminator fee and sleepless nights... I have spent tons of money cleaning clothing at the laundromat and dry cleaners. Very dissapointed do not stay here it is not worth it!!!!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 10 of 26You get what you pay for!
The frond desk employee was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself was clean but outdated. I really can’t complain because so inexpensive. The hotel is very close to the beach…just a few bocks away.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 26Not Great
The hotel wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either. My bed was very uncomfortable, every morning my back was hurting. The room was clean enough, I suppose, but I still didn't feel clean or comfortable in it. The room was really small. Someone had mentioned the toilet paper was rough, it was fine, got the job done. The towels were a little rough though. I also have difficulty with people outside making too much noise. However, I was there during the "Roar to the Shore" weekend and their were bikers everywhere. The staff were really nice and helpful.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 26Probably wouldn't return
It wasn't horrible. To address some of the previous mentioned issues: no, the toilet paper was super soft, but did the job; the motel definitly needs updated; I also had an experience with people out in the pool making a lot of noise. However, with that said, I can deal with rough toilet paper, some minor out-dated aesthetics, and people in the pool, but the bed was very uncomfortable, and the room was very small. It was clean enough, but I didn't feel clean sleeping there. The room smelled a bit mildewy, I'm guessing from the air-conditioner. It was a nice location, really close to the beach, and the beach was quiet since it was September. Staff was really nice. But, I would most likely pay a bit more money if I were to return to Wildwood Crest and stay at a nicer hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 26Don't expect 4 star
Hotel was in a great location and room was very clean, but it is a rather old motel and you shouldn't expect a brand new interior. That being said I have stayed in many older hotels and this one didn't gross me out at all. Everything was clean and I felt comfortable. Plus it is one block from the beach. Definately a really easy walk to the beach. Also staff was excellent and very helpful.
