Trip Type: Not Provided Review 3 of 737Breakfast woes
The room is just fine, bed comfy, everything clean. A breakfast voucher is slipped under the door, you go to the 3rd floor and find out it's $6 per person. After scalding my tongue on the first sip of coffee (in a paper cup), I left without eating any of the sugary donuts or bagels, without cream cheese. It's NY, how could there not be cream cheese with the bagels? Otherwise, it was fine.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 5 of 737Great hotel
The location of this hotel is outstanding without being one of the priciest hotels in NYC. It is walking distance to Broadway, Central park and shopping The lobby was disappointing but the rooms were fine.

The hotel is older but is kept up very well. We found everything very comfortable and suitable for a weekend in New York. The front desk and concierge were very helpful.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 737Well Kept Secert
The Salisbury Hotel experiance was great. I was unsure of what I was getting when I booked it,since the price was so great. I did not expect a very "great" hotel. But is an outstanding Hotel. I was given a choice of room location..noesy Street or quiet back..I took quiet. Room much large than expected, for a 2 double room. Large closet, Kitenet area with fridge, mircowave and coffepot. Bathroom very satisfactory. Bedroom had 2 double beds,2 easy chairs, a desk and chair, and a large dresser. It was located within easy walking distance to many attractions and transprtation : subway, buses, and cabs. I felt very safe at night walking around the neighborhood. I will definatly stay their again and recommend it to friends

The hotel is not for those who stay at the usual chain hotels -not expensively renovated. It does provide everything you require in large rooms that are spotless. The location is great.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 737Hard to Beat
The Salisbury offers a great value in a great location. Additionally, reduced rate parking nearby, efficient and polite check-in, large and attractive rooms (we were given a suite), comfortable beds, flat-screen TV's, and a wonderful buffet breakfast for an additional $6.00 per person.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 737Great Room & Location for the $$$
My best friend and I stayed at The Salisbury for a 3 day trip to NYC and it was great! The size of the room was ample (especially for the price). Our room even had a kitchenette and a coffee-maker, which was a great convinence. Although the beds were on the extra firm side, the rest of the accomodations were very comfortable. The hotel has great mid-town location. The hotel is very close to Central Park, 5th Ave Shopping, Orange and Yellow Subway lines, and many museums. Also Rockefeller Center, Times Square, & Radio City Music Hall are all a short walk away. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
