Functional

This looks like a hotel that was once a major destination, now struggling to compete as it ages. We got rooms at a tremendously good rate, and the room itself was very comfortable and in good repair.

Great basic hotel, good location and nice pool

Really didn't expect much for the price. Yes it's old, yes the rooms could use updating. Free wifi, good size pool with an 8 ft section (not found much anymore) hot tub. Each room has a balcony. Stayed here for Phish 8 would stay here for Coachella too.

Great room for the money

Very clean room and bathroom; having both a microwave and a refrigerator were a wonderful convenience; the continental breakfast had freshly baked items and more choices than I expected; excellent value

Much better facility than we expected and will stay here again the next time in Palm Springs.

Great room for the money

We loved this hotel. Very conventant location. The Staff was very helpful. Gave us coffee before the breakfast opened one morning.

Great time with outstanding hotel

My wife & I had great time & the hotel was wonderful & the staff was very nice & professional. Would recommend to others & we would stay at the same hotel if we go back to Palm Srpings. Thanks

Needs updating

This hotel has so much potential. It's very cute. It's in a good area, has a nice pool, and provided a great little breakfast which was included. But our room had an odor which may have been a cleaning product of some kind. The furnishings were old and dingy. The worst were the drapes and bedding. Spend a little money and buy new ones! I would have recommended this place if the room didn't smell and the drapes/bedding didn't look like they were from the 1970's. And I don't mean retro. They were worn and discolored.

Dated but Clean and Cheap

I just stayed here for 3 nights, it was the same price as my friends stay at the Ace for 1 night. I, like many others in PS pool jumped all weekend. The only time i used the room was to sleep. It is a pretty vintage looking hotel fromthe outside with that old hawaii/palmssprings feel to it.The inside of the room was very big and had a private patio. The rooms were very clean and smelled normal. Free internet and a free breakfast make this a great bargain and I am returning.

Dated hotel, but well taken care of.

Clean, convienent and cheap, like really cheap. Has nice diy belguim waffle maker for the free breakfast. Great pool with nice view and good sun exposure. I gotta say i will stay here quite often for that price. Trendy hotels like the ace and biltmore are 30 second walk. But for 1 night thier you can stay here 3. And we roamed from poolbar to poolbar freely..
