Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 417Great price for a nice hotel.
Great price for this nice hotel. Outstanding bathrooms and comfy pillows. Knowledgable staff. Convenient shuttle service to nightime activities. Clean and quiet. Had to get bill adjusted because resort fee is already included in hotle.com price. Easily adjusted when brought to their attention.

Within walking distance of Downtown Disney. Pleasant stay, Nice pool facilities. Other that not getting one of my scheduled wake-up calls, eerything went well

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 417Good hotel, but too over priced.... the little charges add up..
This hotel was conveniently located in downtown Disney, but the hotel was no better designed than a holiday inn. the rooms were nice but basic. you pay for parking... you pay for internet.... you pay for every service available. the lobby is very upscale, but the rooms are very average

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 417Nice hotel for the money
The rooms were nice and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. It's about a 10 minute walk from Downtwon Disney - a little further than I thought - but convient to all parks if you have a car. Lots of restaurunts in the area too.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 417Very Good Hotel, Especially Compared to Competitors
We were pleasantly surprised by the Royal Plaza. Having stayed across the street at the Regal Sun Resort previously, we had low expectations. The Royal Plaza was clean, convenient and in good condition. I would pick this hotel over the Regal Sun any day. The only real downside is that I resent having to pay for parking. There is tons of space and it seems petty.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 417Pay to park?!!!!
Even if you decide to park your own car you get hit with an $8/night parking fee? Shouldn't it just go without saying that you are going to have a car. It's like charging a "Fork" fee when you go to a restaurant. Kind of rediculous, but I got a good rate from Hotels.com and the location is great so what the heck?

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 417Great location, but nothing special
The hotel was very clean, but the bathroom had mold issues. Also, the "concierge" tried to make a hard sell on us after checking in, to go to a breakfast buffet and listen to a sales pitch on timeshares and we would earn $75 for going. After being inundated with Mickey Mouse all day, the last thing we wanted was a sales pitch when all we wanted to do was relax and go to bed. For the price, I'd rather stay in a brand name hotel.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 417Not a 3.5 star hotel
This was not what I would consider a 3.5 star hotel. The room was clean but that is the only nice thing to say about this hotel. Some of my concerns was the a/c not working properly and the room was warm most of the time regardless of how low the temperature was set at. There were no cups in the bathroom and they only replaced the shampoo once over a 4 day stay. I would not recommend this hotel to any one.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 417Cleanliness Issues
Overall, the hotel was a little worse that we expected. Our bathroom showed signs of having not been thoroughly cleaned, and the trash by the vending/ice machine was not emptied during the entire 3 days of our stay. Meals are currently being served in a makeshift dining room with extremely small tables while the main dining room is being remodeled. We would recommend only if you get an outstanding rate and don't mind some less-than-outstanding aspects like those listed above.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 14 of 417"Outstanding comfort"
I spent one night here and truly enjoyed my brief stay. I only wish I had been staying for another few nights! I would definitely stay here again. The service was without complaint, the room was exceptionally clean, no typical "hotel" odors. The sheets were beyond comfortable, and the pillows were so comfy. The bedding was superb. The decor was relaxed and inviting. I recommend a stay here, it was a fantastic value for the money. I look forward to a return trip!

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 417Not worth the money.
My husband and I stayed two nights, and were not satisfied at all. The beds were supposed to be fulls and were definitely smaller than a full. My husband and I were very uncomfortable the entire time. We had to pay for parking per day, a resort fee, and taxes/surcharges that were not and could not be explained. We will never stay here again. We could have stayed at another hotel at a cheaper price and probably be more satisfied!
