Trip Type: Family Review 17 of 112Wonderful service and amenities
Reserved a room for 2 people -- ended up having a third person join us which meant we needed a roll away bed. Instead of keeping us in a smaller room that did not accomodate a roll away they upgraded us to a larger suite with a sofa sleeper and a king size bed (separate rooms). Accomodations were great and the pool and fitness center were open 24 hours. Great hotel for the price we got on Hotels.com. Would definitely stay there again.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 18 of 112Phenomonal Hotel
There is a top notch hotel. Great quality, great service. The bed was super comfy. Got great sleep in this hotel. Service was excellent. Doesn't get any better. One problem we had after checking out, the hotel charged my credit card for a missing bottle of Grey Goose from the mini-bar, and a hotel bottle opener. Neither my husband or myself even touched the mini-bar.

Trip Type: Romance Review 19 of 112Nice Hotel
The staff was friendly and helpful. One issue is they don't like you doing things yourself, so instead of opening the umbrella, you have to wait 15 minutes for someone to come over to do it for you. I don't like to be over-pampered. Very beautiful hotel and room, great location. The pool was so-so. Just a normal pool, with a max depth of 5ft.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 20 of 112Absolutely first class
I have stayed at numerous 4 and 5 Star hotels around the world and I have to say I was overly impressed with this one. It was built in the 30's and still has some of that charm but Management has kept the rooms up to date which gives the impression of a new hotel. The only negative comment has to do with the water. But this is the case in all of Phoenix. Don't drink the water and never use it to make coffee. As for the hotel, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Trip Type: Romance Review 22 of 112Ruined Honeymoon
I booked a room for my daughter and son in law for their honeymoon here and "What a disaster" it was!!! The room was full of bugs, their wedding cake was ruined, promises made by the hotel staff DID NOT happen and it was truly a very disappointing stay. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 25 of 112Wow!
If you like big, busy resorts... this is not the one for you. Sleek and modern, not so much. And there isn't alot of people trafficking in and out of this hotel. There are, however, people who know about service and who's goals are to keep you happy. Rick and Jose take the motto "whatever you need, no problem" to another level. The 2 alone are more than reason enough to visit the hotel! If you are looking for a quiet getaway somewhere where service matters, this is the hotel for you.

Trip Type: Romance Review 26 of 112great value
Friends stay here all the time and said it was great. We were on an overnight on the way to another destination. Would be way fun in the winter months. Wish they would tone down the air freshener though. The property is old, but it feels more historic than actually "old".It's the southwest after all....Amazing shopping and eating just east of the property within 5 miles.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 27 of 112Best Hotel Ever !!!!!!!!!!!
Not much to say 'outstanding' says it all. The staff addressed me by name. The room was huge the bedroom and living area were separated with flat screens in each section. The bathroom was incredibly big and decorated tastefully. The pool is open 24 hours which we utilized at 3 AM. The bar is a little pricey but excellent service and quality drinks. The restaurant serves late in a really great atmosphere. Nothing at this place needs improvement.
