Excellent Value

The room was very clean and comfortable and the reception area was very nice but the other common areas were 'tired'. Great location and good value for the money. We would stay there again.

Needs Improvement

Although the star rating is not that high, I still expect a place to have key cards that work right away and a clean room. The carpet had a big stain on it, and the hot breakfast items did not look "tasty" to say the least. I must say that the front desk staff was more than gracious; however.

fairly priced room

the room was fairly priced and we loved the continental breakfast it was the best we have had in a long time

great value

We found this hotel to be very nice for the price and when our plans changed and we needed to include more people on our stay they accomidated us with connecting rooms and gave us the same rate that we had got on line. The only thing we were disappointed with was that the pool and restaurant/lounge were closed and we were not informed of this upon making reservations, no big deal tho, cuz all the clubs etc. are very close, and no longer require memberships to enter. Yahoo!!!

needs repaired

The room smelled The bathroom door was off the hing The shower head was not working right The coffee pot was broken The bathtub and sink stoppers were broken I paid a lot for this room only to find out the people next door paid a lot less for a better room.

UNEXPECTED

We were surprised that the hotel was not maintained at all and that their photos in the internet versus actual are totally different.

Hotel was 3 Stars-Hotel staff was 5 Stars

The Hotel was conveniently located just South of City core, made for a quiet space.The bed was firm and I has an outside space, 2nd floor. I spent 4 days with a lot of time working in the room, wifi was always on. I would stay again and have nothing negative to say about the Royal Garden Inn.

Not a bad place to crash

The place was clean; the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, its not in a convenient location in salt lake. You have to take the light rail to go places where there are good places to eat, etc.

Needs remodeling

The room was mainly clean but the walls were dirty.

Great Location

The hotel was centrally located near all of our destinations. It was very easy to access from the interstate, and parking was not an issue. The room was not spectacular, but it was great if you are only looking for a place to sleep - which most business travlers are. I felt that my room was clean and tidy. I slept great in their beds, and enjoyed the huge window I could open in my room. The hotel is old and could use some updates, but overall it is a good place to stay for a few days.

Great Room for the Money.

Nice Hotel. Clean and within walking distance to restaurants and Salt Lake Rail System. Front desk extremely helpful in directions and recomendation for public transportation.

Great room for the money!

We arrived 6hours before check in time, they had no concerns about checking us into our room. The front desk help was well informed and helpful on interesting places to visit and the easiest routes to get there. The Breakfast was delightful! clean environment, hot foods were hot, cold foods were cold! I would recommend this to others....as we will return.
