Beautiful location

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The location was excellent with one of the most beautiful views I have seen. The staff was friendly and this is the same hotel that Larry Hagman got married in 1956.

Four Stars???

My husband and I were very disappointed with this hotel. Everything was extremely dated- which we would have been ok with had the view been nice- but it was not. We were placed in a room on the lake side where all we could really see were the parking lot/some trees/ and the people eating in the glass patio area of the restaurant. It may have been a 4 star hotel in the late 80s/early 90s- but it didn't appear to be anywhere close to 4 stars now. There was a strange smell in the hallways. One morning- the hot water heater was "broken" so my husband was forced to take a freezing shower with the hotels' response being "sometimes these things happen". There were 2 positives: (1) Breakfast was a huge spread with a nice variety (2) private parking underground (this is hard to find with some hotels in Europe we've found)
