Not in the best part of San Antonion

The hotel room smelled when we walked and the bathroom spelled like urine. We were looking for something and realized there was a diaper in the back of the bed frame. The location itself is not far from downtown but the surroudings of the hotel area questionable

Good room for the money!

The location of the Hotel was a bit out of the way of downtown and because of the construction I kept missing my exit. Other than that the service was great. On my arrival, the 1st room I was assigned to the refridgerator stunk and it was a bit dusty. When we turned on the heater it was musty. You could tell no one had stayed in this room in awhile. I was upgraded immediately to a better room away from all the diseal trucks and one with a jacuzzi! I stayed there 2 nights so that made for a good extra especially after walking downtown all day and most of the night. Service was great and friendly and continuously asked if there was anything else they could do to make my stay better. They brought extra towels immediately when asked. I wouldn't recommend bringing in food for there is a slight problem with ants. I would recommend this Hotel to my friends!!! For the room, rate and service I was completely satisfied! Thank you Rest Inn you guys were awesome!!!

Great room

Great room for the money! Beds a little too hard, but did the job for the night.

"It is what it is "

Hotel had clean room with cabel 27 tv, outside needed painting but had clean lighted pool. Allowed pets large and small this is way we booked there, had lots of grass for kids and pets. So on that note it was a good deal for family and pets. Taco bell/KFC next door with Iron Skillet resturant across street.

Work in Progress

The online booking listed amenities as microwave, refrigerator, wireless internet. The room we were in had none of the above, but upon asking we were moved to a different room that had all. Some rooms have some of the items, varying from none to all and any combination. The pool was put back into service while we were there for a weeks stay. The exterior is very worn and appears to be falling apart but work is being done to repair. It appears that the interiors were recently re-done and when the exterior repairs are complete, it should be a nice place to stay. Friendly, accommodating staff. Be sure to ask if you need something.

Needs improvement

The exterior of the hotel was in pretty bad shape and had only one ice maker way far away from my room.

Good for the price.

The hotel was in the middle of a renovation; but for the price and convenience, it was not all that bad.

Bed bugs

This hotel had many bugs in the room. There were ants all over the bed and floor. I will never go to this hotel ever again!

bathrooms haven't been upgraded in sometime... truck stop on site

DO NOT RECOMMEND

OUR ROOM WAS DIRTY. STILL HAD TOWELS ON THE FLOOR FROM PREVIOUS PERSON. MAID SERVICE DID NOT COME THROUGH EVERYDAY. WORST MOTEL I EVER STAYED IN!!!!!
