Meh

Overall the hotel was decent, but there were definately some problems that need to be fixed. First, the sheets were dirty and not replaced by the staff when asked. Second, the cleaning lady just barged into the room without knocking. And the best part of the stay was when I got a bill slid under the door the day of checkout for "parking fees and valet tax." 38.00! And there isn't valet parking! I won't be staying there again, and have no problem in telling that to anyone else.

Needs improvement, but a decent deal for the money

We stayed there for two nights--the location (a few blocks from the hustle of Coconut Grove) was good for what we needed, but the immediate neighborhood may have some crime issues. It is mostly residential, and you do see a lot of bars and security gates. Also, I-95 isn't far away. There were three of us, so we needed a suite--and hotels.com didn't offer a lot of selection of those. I think next time we'll pay a bit more money and try for something better.

not up to par

found a roach in one of the rooms; i came in late to check in and found the cleaning personell complaining to the front desk because my mother had requested additional towels; they placed two holds on my credi card for no reason; the parking was very tight and extremely limited. the staff at breakfast was very nice however and so was one of the front desk supervisors the second night i was there.

Great Location

This hotel was conveniently located minutes from Coconut Walk, which contains great shops, restaurants and a movie theatre. The suite was spacious and well equipped. Will definitely stay there again when in Miami!

Customer oriented Hotel

Whenever I see a Manager "hands on" asking customers how their stay was while having breakfast....I am sold! Staff and management were engaging and eager to help. My stay was for business in which we wee running a conference at the University of Miami. We had AV equipment and boxes shipped to us from our base in NY. Staff secured our items and assisted with placing items in AND out of our vehicle, with a smile! Breakfast was very hearty, clean and food was fresh. I will be back this summer for a leisure trip and will definitely be staying here ! Thank you Coconut Grove Marriott!

Great choice for a fun and quiet hotel

Great room with space to work and relax, with good TV and many channels with no extra cost, the overal room is very confortable and the environment is silent. I appreciate sending time at the hotel and congratulate for the nice breakfest.

Outstanding room for the money and location

Very comfortable and convenient location! Variety of breakfast foods offered was a very pleasant surprise. Staff was friendly and accomodating.
