Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 13Great Brisbane hotel
The Hotel Rendezvous is a great place to stay in downtown Brisbane. It's conveniently located right across the street from the central train station and is extremely easy to reach from the airport. I'd certainly stay there again - it's an excellent value and our room was great.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 13Wonderful Hotel
Having stayed in 4 hotels over 2 weeks, the Rendevous definitely exceeded my expectations on many levels. It was very accessible to the airport using public transportation; the staff was very helpful and above all my room was clean and kitchenette well equipped. I highly recommend this hotel.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 13Great Hotel, Great Staff, Great Location
Here is the reason the hotel exceeded my expectations: Upon arrival in Brisbane, we had a day trip to the Australia Zoo. When we arrived back in Brisbane that evening, we had to fly to Cairns for an overnight-trip. Because we did not want to carry our two heavy pieces of luggage to Cairns (since it was only an overnight trip), we asked The Rendezvous Hotel to hold our luggage, even though we weren't staying with them until the following night. No questions asked, they did it without blinking an eye. When we did stay with them the following day, the staff remembered us and asked how our trip to Cairns was... Memorable!!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 7 of 13Good Room and Great Location
As advertised, the hotel was directly across the street from Brisbane's central Railroad Station. We had a lot of luggage and there were elevators to get us from the train from the airport to the street. The room was clean and up-to-date and included kitchen facilities (which we did not use). We were able to walk to restaurants, shopping and the South Bank entertainment area.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 8 of 13Great Hotel, great location
This hotel was wonderful. The staff was so friendly and helpful. It is located in the heart of Brisbane and in walking distance of most locations or you can take the train because it is right across the street from the hotel. I think the cafe could be spruced up a little and the food selection is weak.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 13Good location and price
We were staying in Brisbane for 2 nights and picked this hotel for location and price as we only had a day and a half to see the city. It meet our needs perfectly. If you are just looking for a clean, reasonably priced hotel in a good location relative to the city and airport, this would be a good selection. Don't expect a WOW experience but don't worry about having to cancel and switch hotels once you see it either.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 13Great location for public transportion plus money-saving kitchen
The Rendezvous Brisbane is across the street from the Central Train Station, so that taking the train from the airport becomes an attractive option. Side trips out from Brisbane CBD (Central Business District) appeared easy to do via the train and bus system, although we did our sightseeing on foot. The kitchen was sufficiently supplied (microwave, small refrigerator, sink, dishes) so that we frequently ate one or two meals in the room. Cole's, a chain supermarket, is only a few blocks away, and had reasonable prices (especially compared to the oftentimes $30-$40 US cost for two to eat out, even at low-end restaurants). We were surprised that many shops were closed on Sundays; and during the week, most shops closed at 5 PM. Cole's stayed open till 7 PM. The room was not overly big--just enough room for two single beds, a small table with chairs, the kitchen along the entrance wall, and the bathroom (shower/toilet/sink), but we didn't feel cramped.
