Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 24Expensive, but worth it
Great service and good location. If possible, opt for the "stay for breakfast" package; the english breakfast is incredible and you won't get anything close to such a deal dining out in London.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 24Outstanding hotel
This hotel was an absolute gem. It is located off a quite courtyard in the heart of everything. We were able to walk to the theater in the West End, Buckingham Palace Trafalger Square, the British Museum, Hyde Park, etc. etc. The room was lovely and the king bed was extremely comfortable. The common areas were stunning. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. We only hope the rates are still as affordable.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 8 of 24What a lovely place
You know how the photographs on the internet never seem to really depict what you see when you get to the real thing...well this is one of those rare places where what you see is what you'll get. As you drive into the courtyard of this hotel, you immediately sense that you're somewhere special. Several attendants are immeidately avaiable to help you with luggage and information. The rooms are beautifully decorated and adorned with attractive moldings. You are one block away from the Holborn station on the Metro, and a manageable walk away from the Covent Garden area (with plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from). If you double the distance to Covent Garden, you get to Trafalgar Square. We never took the Metro, as at 4 pounds a person (we were four) it made more sense to jump into a taxi (our biggest fare was from the hotel to Victoria Station area to see Wicked at the Apollo theatre and amounted to 16 pounds). There is a all day Metro pass for 6.40 pounds but given our schedule it still made sense for us to do taxis. All in all, this is a great place to stay while visiting London, and I won't be looking at any other place to stay on my next visit.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 24Very nice, amenities a little pricey
Excellent Hotel and service, Concierge was fantastic. The Room service, food and anything else was pricey and expected with a five star hotel.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 24Had a fabulous stay at the Renaissance
I can't recommend the Renaissance Chancery Court highly enough. The room was large and luxurious, with a comfortable bed, great towels and a fluffy robe. The concierge was always helpful and all the staff courteous and attentive. The Renaissance is near Covent Garden and within walking distance of the British Museum, the west end plays and even Trafalgar Square, if you are a person who likes to walk. It's very close to the Holburn tube stop, which is on two of the subway lines. I booked the room about five months in advance and got a great rate through hotels.com. I would have expected to pay much more for a room in a hotel of this quality.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 24"Outstanding Hotel"
This was our first trip to London. The hotel was beyond all expectations. It was very beautiful, clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. It was located within walking distance of all major tourist attractions and we were able to see Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, The Parliament Building, Harrods, and many other sites all on foot. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The only negative was the breakfast buffet. It was very pricey and service was slow. The food was "okay". I would recommend eating breakfast elsewhere.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 24Fantastic in Almost Every Respect
This hotel is a bit out of the way and a bit pricey compared to some of the other hotels in London, but if you're looking for a fabulous American-style hotel room (yes, bath AND shower!) and terrific service, I think this hotel is well worth a visit. We genuinely enjoyed ourselves and couldn't possibly have had better service from any of the staff members we encountered. Very highly recommended.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 24Loved the hotel
The hotel is simply beautiful. The best part about it was the size and quality of the rooms. Very big for Europe. Also, the service was excellent. For the price, this was truly an amazing deal. I'd definitely stay here again.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 15 of 24Renaissance Chancery Court
This is probably the best "Typically American" hotel in London. The rooms are quite large and the marble bathrooms are beautiful. My wife and I had previously stayed at the property two years ago and the repeat visit was even better than our first. This is a beautiful Marriott property that has a marvelous staff that will help you in every way to make your visit to London a pleasant one. The only weak point is the expensive Pearl restaurant. The are many cheaper places toeat within a five minute walk.I would not hesitate recommending the Renaissance Chancery Court to anyone desiring a wonderful stay in London. The Undergroud is a couple of minutes walk as is the British Museum. Covent Garden is about ten minutes and the theatre district is around five more minutes.
