Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 60Beautiful hotel
Great hotel! Beautiful and very helpful staff. Liked location--not in all the craziness of French Quarter but close enough to walk. Many nice restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay there again. ONe of the few hotels that have a roof top pool too. A must in the summer!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 60Outstanding Hotel
We got a great deal on a 6 night stay at this hotel and the room, decor and staff exceeded our expectations. I was a bit concerned about the expense of valet parking (~$30/day) but upon arrival the valet pointed out a number of free parking spaces around the hotel. As long as I was willing to hunt a bit, I was able to find free parking. The restaurant was fanstastic though a bit pricy. There was complimentary coffee every morning there. Our only complaint was that the room we had would not cool down sufficiently despite a visit by maintenance staff. We finally changed rooms the last night we were there and the other room was fine. The hotel also gave us a free dinner in the hotel as compensation which we used to eat in the sidewalk tables of the restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a quality hotel experience in close proximity to the Riverwalk mall, Harrahs cassino and a short walk to the French Quarter.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 60Great hotel and services
Extremely nice hotel--beautiful rooms and great service with dinner reservations and info on sites to see and how to get there. Great rooftop pool. A little far to walk to French Quarter but worth it compared to prices in FQ and close by. Would definitely stay again.

Great hotel. Be prepared to pay for valet parking though.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 60Great Room for the money!
The hotel was beautiful. the exterior does it no justice. The room was huge and the beds were amazing. Even the bedding itself was great. There is a great exercise facility and the rooftop pool/hottub had an amazing view. The bathroom was surprisingly not all that impressive compared to the room and rest of the hotel but that in no way mattered. The only possible complaint, and that is only if I had to have one would be that they didnt supply a hair dryer. Great location, it rained the majority of my stay but the location was close enough to still walk where I needed to go. Amazing hotel, I plan to stay there again.

Our stay was awesome. The art in the hotel was awesome. Really cool sculptures and water features. Nice pool on the roof with a well-appointed fitness center. We arrived 2 hours before check-in, and they said no problem. Asked us if we wanted two doubles or queens. We got our room which was spacious and nice. The shampoo and soap were top-notch. Possibly my favorite part of the stay was hanging out with Paula in the club lounge and enjoying the books in the library and the complimentary hors d'ouvres and soft drinks. The continental breakfast in the morning was great, also. I will definitely stay there again.

Our room was so hot and we were sweating all night -- we had to check in late and we were too tired to try to get another room at 2 in the morning when we discoverd that the AC was really not working and definitely not performing Rm. 237. Steve

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 60Wonderful place to stay
This hotel is located just outside of the French Quarter. It is close to everything, but it is just far enough away to be quiet. There are quite a few neat places to visit and eat in this area. Mothers is a wonderful place to eat and experience. My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and recently visited for a weekend trip. We were just as satisfied as the first time we stayed a the Renaissance Arts Hotel.
