Nice, clean. Very comfy bed and Aveda bath products. Very efficient front desk.

Great hotel near highway

The only thing that would make this better, is if we got a free breakfast with our room rate. A lot of hotels do that. Otherwise, very clean, modern room in nice surroundings. Near highway, so you can drive easily.

I had a view of HVAC

I checked it late and unpacked my things. Morning came and revealed a view of a wall and HVAC vents. Since I was already unpacked I didn't move rooms. The room was comfortable and nice. The only noticeable problem with the room was the ceiling needed a little TLC to repair a corner. My only other complaint was that the shampoo was "watered down" for 3 of the 4 days I stayed. It was like instead of replacing the shampoo the maid added water to the bottle to fill it up instead of replacing or adding a bottle.

Outstanding hotel and staff

Comfy and cheery room. We felt very comfortable here We will definitely stay here often. Our daughter lives in Malibu and this is very convenient for us. Jaime at the front desk was unbelievably attentive and kind. A great stay!!

pretty good overall

we were put right next to the hotel parking lot where it was very loud but the room was very nice and comfortable. Also breakfast was not comlimentary and had cost quite a lot.

Great Hotel!

This was a great hotel @ a great rate for the area. There were other hotels in the vincinity but this was the best for the money. The staff was very helpful even though they had a full house. My room exceeded my expectations and the bed was very comfortable. Easy access to and from the freeway (101) In house bar/resturant with excellent food. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will stay here again when I am in the area.

Great ROOM for the Money !

Overall a good place to stay. The Staff was very helpful when we reported a faulty refrigerator temp. Quiet surroundings and close to Malibu / Santa Monica coastal areas we were planning to spend time at.

Good Hotel but beware

The first night we were put in a horrible room...Room 105. It is next to the loud bar and the elevator that you can hear up and down. It also chimes on floor 1 each time. Also a view of a nearby wall. Instead of 2 beds, we got king and rollaway that did not fit well. When we asked the next day for options, they were fantastic and moved us to a great location, with 2 beds. They moved us near our relatives who were arriving. Very friendly and helpful front desk.

Great location, tired hotel

Not the level you would expect from a Renaissance, but then the price was very reasonable. Room was small, but hotel staff was very responsive to requests.

Incredible stay

Perfect for a local getaway, so close to the Malibu State Park and we enjoyed the jacuzzi and the balcony
