Stay in the tower

When I arrived at the hotel my room was in an outer courtyard, facing on the parking lot. The room felt like a creepy fishbowl. I hated everything about it including the furniture. The man at the desk offered me an upgrade which put me in the 'tower' as opposed to the outer ring. Although I had no view the room was a 100% improvement. I was told that the size was the same, but the room felt bigger. The room and the air felt cleaner and I wasn't afraid to touch things. My colleagues kept their original rooms and, unless they were sleeping, had to come to the lobby to hang out because their rooms were "sleazy". I was actually able to stay in my room and work.

Great for the Money

We walked to Downtown Disney in 2 minutes. The hotel was old but rooms had been updated. Pool area was GREAT! Would definitely stay here again, especially for the cost.

Exceptional Hotel

The room was large, very clean, and comfortable. It exceeded my expectations.

great for te money

If you are looking for luxury, this is not the hotel for you. But if you are looking for comfort, conveinience, and great value for the money then this IS the hotel for you. The rooms are nicely remodeled and the lobby is very nice. I only had one problem and it was the bartender at the bar. He obviously doesn't like his job. But the rest of the staff was great and courteous. Just a quick taxi to downtown Disney and a short ride in a free bus to Disney parks. I'll stay again. PS- The pool area is great!

This Hotel Loves Kids!

Kids Play Area in Lobby, Fun Director outside Bus area with Games, Splash Park in Pool, Character Dining, etc... Group of 14 people, 5 kids, had a GREAT 5 day stay!

Great location. Good value for room. Prices in snack/gift shops are outrageous. Staff good but not as knowledgeable as they could be. Rooms housekeeping adequate but could improve.

Overall not worth the price

When we arrived they downgraded our room. It took me 15 minutes to get this fixed, and another customer came up and had the same problem. The front desk service was not very pleasant and did not appear empowered to help guests. When we got the correct room it smelled of mold. Their were brown stains on two of the five pillow covers and the bathroom did had some strange stains on the walls. The bell hop was the one redeeming feature about this hotel he was knowledgible about the area, friendly, and willing to help. Parking at night is almost impossible as they do not have enough parking spots for the rooms. It took almost 20 minutes of driving around to find a spot and I noticed most cars were parked on curbs and in grass areas. The front desk also gave me a coupon and said see guest services for more info. When I went to guest services, the girl that handed me an envelope with coupons for local stores and restaurants couldn't be bothered to get off her cell phone. I tried the gym while I was there and found that the water jug was not replaced and remained empty from one night until well after 10 the next morning, when we checked out. I have stayed in several hotels in this area for the same price and found them all to be cleaner and better staffed. I will not be staying here again or recommending it to anyone else.

Great room for the money.

We like to stay at the Regal Sun because of the great rates we find AND because it's so near Downtown Disney. You can't beat the stay for the discounted rates.

Shuttle buses a good deal

I found the Regal Sun to be a good price and the staff very friendly and helpful. The buses were easy to use and always on time. I would stay there again.
