NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

MAY STAY AT THE HOTEL WAS "VERY GOOD" THE COUNTER WORKERS ARE VERY CURTIOUS AND POLITE. THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN BUT NEEDED A MICROWAVE AND A SMALL REFRIG.

Great value

Typically spartan Red Roof, but clean, VERY comfortable bed, and everything I needed. Convenient to Metro and some great restaurants.

Spend the extra bucks

Not worth the money. spend the xtra $20-40 and stay at a nicer safer hotel..

best deal we could find in DC

The biggest issue we had was the AC unit was so LOUD. It would cycle on and off throughout the night. Every time it came on we would wake up. We didn't want to turn it off since it was so warm out.

Great hotel, close to all the sights

The hotel was great. It has a nice closed parking deck below, located within walking distance to everything (we walked the mall and other sights). Some nice place to go to in Chinatown around the corner. definitely coming back here on our next trip to DC. The Irish pub in the lobby was very good also (good atmosphere, food and reasonable prices).

This hotel is a great value for the price. The staff was very courteous and helpful, the room was clean, and it's in a good location.

Great Room for the money

Good location - easy walking distance to Capitol/Mall/Smithsonian. Chinatown one block away - great food. Spy Museum nearby is a must see. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was standard, I found the bed comfortable.

Great Room, Staff and Location for the price!

First of all, I have to say, the staff was fantastic! As busy as they were, I never felt as if I was interupting them (Which is the feeling I get from some hotel employees at times). I used to live in DC and China Town was not the greatest of places back then. Wow, what a difference! The Verizon center really revitalized the area. Although it still has a way to go, I felt very comfortable walking around the neighborhood. BTW-Try the Lincoln Pancake house (right next door the house where Lincoln died, across from the Ford's Theatre) Great breakfast, not fancy at all...actually a bit of a 'Hole in the wall' but the perfect breakfast for cheap too!

conveniently located and classy hotel as well! value for money too.

I was in DC for tourism and this hotel served the full purpose. Its clean, feels very safe and conveniently located in central DC. Chinese restaurants are nearby too. The only drawback is lack of breafast and free internet!
