Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 13Great Hotel Just a Little Old
The hotel room was big enough for a couple with a small child. I had the room with two queen beds and it was better than the room with a king bed. I really enjoyed the stay and it was right infront of a Target store and next door to a Sonic Drive so the location was convienent. Also it was on the main road in Santa Fe. The only downfall was that the hotel was old. It smelled old in the room. Not that it wasn't clean just old smelling. The staff was really nice and curtious. For the area the prices on Hotel.com were very competitive. When I go back I will be staying there again.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 13are they racist or just discourteous?
The desk clerk was not polite and i didnt feel welcome. Im of a different national origin. He tossed my credit card back on the counter and didn't say I'm sorry. Also no eye contact. What's up with that?

For the money the room was well worth it! I would recommend the hotel to maybe put some fruit out with the continental breakfast.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 7 of 13Not really a good hotel
We stayed there for 1 night. I had selected the hotel because it says it has a pool, and indeed, it has a pool... but empty, looks like it has been under repair for several days. Room was OK, but too simple. No elevator. They say they have breakfast and yes they do, but only coffee and some bread, I think. I could not get anything because even though it was only about 5 people in the "freakfast", they had been in line for several minutes because something was not workin. AC was not working properly, it would shutdown after about 10 minutes.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 8 of 13Amazing Value For the Price.
I had a deluxe room, w/fridge and microwave, which made me very happy. The desk clerk was hospitality itself, always willing to tell me about places to eat, to go to sight-see, etc., as well as local "necessary" services--bank, laundromat, barber shop. I never had a bad meal in Santa Fe. I had an incredible stay in Santa Fe, largely due to the reasonable price of the hotel which allowed me to stay several extra days, and the helpfulness of Tim, the Red Roof Hotel Man! You ARE away from down-town, which is the only down-side--even though you're on the main drag, Cerrillos Road, it's a good 15-20 min. to the Plaza, even not in traffic. It is not luxury, but for good, basic accomodation, the Red Roof Santa Fe cannot be beat. I'd stay here again over and over if I come back to Santa Fe, which I hope I do.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 13Needs improvement
2 story no elevator, Only coffee and tea available in am. AC took until about 3 am to cool off--we had on high since around 3 pm. Pool was closed empty in July for maintenance. Was rated way above where it should have been. It was definitely a one star hotel. . I will never stay there again for any price.. Area was reasonable safe and good location in Santa Fe.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 13Very Happy
I booked the Redf Roof Inn and upon arrivial found there was a festival in the area and there were no other rooms for an extended stay. The clerk worked with me and was able to optain additional nights upon a cancelation. The room was very comfortable and would recommend to others.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 13Okay room for the money
The hotel was pretty much what I expected, except maybe even a little newer/nicer. However, I was very disappointed that their hot tub was "seasonal", aka not open in mid-May.
