beds were hard, towels scratchy and indoor a/c & heating unit was loud and could not maintain a comfortable temperature level

it was good for the price, easy to find. make sure you take yr own iron and blow dryer. and extra towels.but it was good for two days. only coffee was offered in mornin!

HORRIBLE

IT WAS THE DIRTIEST HOTEL STAY I'VE EVER BEEN IN!!! THEY DO NOT CHANGE THE SHEETS AND ONLY GIVE TWO TOWELS AND WE HAD A PARTY OF FIVE. THE POOL WAS NASTY, I HAD TO CLEAN IT MYSELF. WE WILL NOT EVER STAY AT ANOTHER AGAIN!!

needs a lot of improvement

I asked for extra towels and a pillow- I was told I could not get anything extra. I asked for the cart to move my luggage- no one knew where it was at, I waited 30 minutes and no one asked if they could help me with anything. It was very disappointing to stay at RED ROOF - I WILL NEVER BOOK A HOTEL ROOM WITH THIS COMPANY....

Needs a Bit of Improvement

We've stayed here before and were satisfied. This time it seemed like the bed linens had not been changed on one of the beds. They were dirty. My husband had to go downstairs to request clean linens. Other than that, everything else was fine.

You get what you pay for....

We stayed at this hotel because of the convenience (close to Sea World and the Riverwalk) and the price. We stayed two days, and for some reason the bathroom had a strong urine stench. I figured it was not cleaned properly that day and that the smell would go away the next day....but it did not! The bathroom was only stocked with 2 towels and we are a family of four. There were extra towels at the front desk, but were intended for the pool only (and we were only given 3 towels when I asked for 4). The trash (our takeout empty bags) was not taken out when it was cleaned one day. The pillows are very small and thin....so take some from home! All in all its good if you don't want to pay too much for a hotel you are only going to sleep in.

Our stay at this hotel was great. I have no complaints. The room was clean. There is a microwave in the lobby that we used nightly. The staff was very helpful. And the best part was the price! This was our second time vacationing to San Antonio, and the first time we stayed in a much pricier hotel, and to tell you the truth, there wasnt much difference in the two.

Needs alot of Improvement

1) When we checked in the Clerk was rude, acted like she was doing us a favor. 2) The trash can in front of the elevator stunk, until we had to nofity the clerk. 3) End of the hallway near our room you can smell pot coming from one of the rooms. 4) We had to change my daughters room for another because the one they gave her stunk bad. 5) You had to pay to receive internet service, 6) No Iron, fridge, coffee maker 7) Not enough towels, for the bathroom or pool. 8) After complaining to the manager, he was nice enough to knock off a measly $30.00 on our bill. 9) The carpet through out the hotel smelled and looked bad.

Great location

I took my wife and six children along to San Antonio. Three kids went to Fiesta Texas and the rest of use went to Sea World. The front desk made sure our stay was enjoyable and had maps to and from the two parks. I even referred one of my employees to stay at this hotel and he is going this weekend.

more towels needed

One suggestion to this hotel would be to raise the price of your rooms by one dollar for one week and with the extra funds you could purchase more bath towels. We finally got extra bath towels on our second evening. We hid them when we left so we would have an extra towel for the remaining mornings we were at the hotel. Be sure to check under the bed for your rebates. We found a nickel, a ball for a toy gun, and an Alamo souvenir under or around the bed. The air conditioner did a superb job for as warm as it was but it seemed to only have one speed. I found the air conditioner to be very quiet. The guests were friendly and the parking was adequate. The TV remote was a bit sensitive and there was no channel guide. The maids could use some work on picking items up off the floor. A local merchant passed fliers under the door and we left it to see if the maid would pick it up. The item did not get picked up during our stay. Overall it was not a totally bad experience but it did leave a few items to be desired
