bath had mold, soap in tub not cleaned out, onthe third day no soap was left for us. Had to ask for soap.

Smoke Smell

The room was supposed to be non-smoking but the smell of cigarette smoke was extremely strong. We tried to change rooms but the front desk did not cooperate. We were told that all rooms had already been checked into. Later we found out that that was not the case.

got what we paid for

We needed a hotel near Lititz for two nights for a wedding, and the Red Roof Inn was close, and the most reasonably priced available (for an October weekend). The good points: close to lots of things to do (Amish buggy rides, Strasburg railroad, two different outlet shops, and Dutch Wonderland), you can walk across the parking lot to four different restaurants, has a complimentary hot breakfast, and the room was clean. Cons: the woman working the front desk when we checked in was incredibly rude, the walls are very thin, and the housekeeping staff came in and took our towels, but never replaced them or made our bed. (However, the woman working the front desk at this time - different than the one who checked us in - was very apologetic and prompt about replacing the towels as soon as we told her.) Also, the wireless internet connection barely worked. All in all, we were not looking for something spectacular, just a no-frills getaway that would let us see our friends get married and give us a chance to see some of the charms of Lancaster County while we were there, and if that's what you're looking for, this place is fine.

Very Nice

The Hotel appears to be almost new. It is clean and a pleasure to stay at. I had never been in a Red Roof Inn with a breakfast included in your nights stay. The breakfast had a wide variety of hot and cold food items. Overall, it was the best Red Roof Inn I have ever stayed at over the years.

Excellent except for one thing

The hotel was excellent..clean...people very courteous. We were leaving at 6 am and the girl did not have the breakfast ready on time. We left at 6:15 and it still wasn't ready.

It was a good location

After finding the light switch, seeing that the telephone in the room didnt work and killing all the bug, our stay was okay. But the pool wasn't that clean.

For the price the hotel was decent

Hotel wasn't a five star but the price was good and the hotel was ok. Ok decor and did not smell like an inn - motel. For a last minute booking the hotel was good.

Worked out well for us

This hotel was in a great location for us and it was decent for the price... With two young children, it was an appropriate choice.

we were able to walk to Dutch Wonderland. Very convenient.
