Small but Comfortable

The room we were originally given was already occupied. We were given another room, and someone later tried to get in to our room. Fortunately we had bolted the door and were inside. Our room key had to be reset the second day after the maid service had been through. Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable enough.

A little disappointed

Although the hotel was cheap, you could tell why. My room stunk of smoke (I guess there was a smoker in there before me). Very noisy. Convenient location as it was near the airport and lots of restaurants. But at the end there are cleaner and less noisy hotels for a little bit more money. I would not stay there again.

ok for one night

I wouldn't plan on staying very long here. It was cheap and convenient. But there was a curious odor about the room - like too much air freshener trying to cover up some other smell. Finding an ant in the bed was no joy either. Having a king size bed was nice as was the microwave & freezer & free wifi (part of the deal with booking a king size room).

Needs new TV/Remote

The TV in my room would not pick up the network channels and the remote would only work to turn the TV on and off. I went to the front desk and they offered me another room. In the second room the remote would turn the TV on but not turn it off. The TVs and remotes are old and need replaced.

Fine for the price, very helpful staff

Nice, clean, and quiet - which was a concern as we HATE rooms with lots of traffic noise. Staff was very helpful with recommendations for nearby restaurants (which were great!). Only drawback - had to go to office to get coffee (which was available 24 hours a day). In-room fridge and microwave, but no coffee maker.

Don't go here!!!!!!

The construction equipment took up most of the parking, the clerk made me wait almost 15 minutes before coming out of the back room to check me in. I checked in at 1:45 AM, after a very long day of travel. Also I did not know it until I got to the airport the next morning, but I did not get my credit card back at check in, and NOBODY did anything to tell me the hotel had my credit card. When I discovered it was gone, I called the hotel and they told me they had t, and they would mail it to me. I was at the Albany Airport, lterally a three minute drive from the hotel. I had to check in my lugage, come back out of security, go get my car,leave the airport, and go pick it up. They couldn't be bothered to have somebody bring it to me, which would have saved a whole bunch of time and effort, to make up for their mistake to begin with. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUX, but they'll continue to be full because of their location. FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO GO TO!!!!

Business travel not for families

There wasn't enough soap, shampoo or room in this hotel. The rooms were clean with the exception of the shower. The last person left an open bottle of conditioner that the staff did not take. It makes me wonder if they really even cleaned the bathroom [the smallest one I have ever seen] The surrounding area was good with plenty to eat and shop locally. Oh, and the airport is very close by so keep the airconditioner on or you hear planes overhead.

Excellent hotel.

First time in this place. Fourth hotel visited in Albany/Troy area. Great location and close to many places. Comfortable beds and personnel in the front desk very were customer oriented. Will stay again next time.
