Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 364Great value for the money, more than 1 block from Disney
I stayed one night on business. Hotel was recently renovated and it shows. All room amenities are modern and new - comfy sheets, thick fluffy towels, high def TV, granite bathroom counter, etc. The touch screen thermostat in my room didn't seem to work but I didn't investigate or call for help since I was only there one night. One reason I chose this hotel was because of the stated location of "Disneyland - 1 block" since my convention was at the Disneyland Hotel. When I asked which direction I should go to walk to the convention, I quickly realized that it's a lot more than one block. It's about one block to the edge of Disney-owned property, but the actual entrances to any of the Disney parks or hotels are about two miles away. If you intend to walk to Disney make sure you fully understand where the entrance is in relation to your hotel. I ended up taking a 5-minute cab ride to my convention. I also booked a room with "breakfast included". Note that what they actually give you is a $10 off coupon for breakfast in the hotel restaurant, so it's not necessarily free depending on what you order. The standard breakfast buffet (plus tax) was about a dollar more than the coupon covered. I was staying alone, not sure whether I would have gotten more vouchers if more people were staying in my room. Free wi-fi. Within walking distance of Anaheim's Garden Walk shopping/restaurant/entertainment district. I would definitely stay there again, especially at the price I got.

I was very happy with the Red Lion Hotel in Ahaheim. It has been many years since I stayed in a Red Lion...and I selected it for the price. I was elated - the room was very nice, and I used their business office - it was very convenient and efficient. The staff was helpful. The Garden Walk provided a compliment of restaurants to choose from and even catch a movie. I will definately return.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 364great hotel for the money
Hotel room was clean and beds were very comfortable. We bought the room with breakfast and received a twenty dollar coupon for breakfast in the morning. The coupon covers breakfast, and it is a full breakfast menu. Great stay. Very close to Disneyland.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 364Good Hotel Location and Price
Overall the hotel was good for the price and is close to Disneyland. Also, it was nice that we were able to bring our puppy with us since it's a "pet friendly" hotel. The front desk staff was very nice and overall helpful. The bad parts of our stay was the shower which had no water pressure. It probably rains outside harder than that shower. Also our puppy picked up some kind of medicine pill that was left on the carpet which scared me (fortunately she did not eat it). But it was clear the carpet had not been vacuumed very well. Lots of dust. But again, for a cheaper rate...the bed was comfortable and the location was good.

Didn't like paying $14.00 extra per day for parking, wasn't aware of that at time of bookin.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 364Customer Service & Cleanliness need improvement
Front desk at check-in was not friendly. I believe her name was Nellie? Bathroom floor looked unswept and had long strands of hair on the floor from the guest who'd stayed in our room prior to our arrival. Expected more than we actually got. OK for your money. Stayed at Portofino Inn & Suites before this last trip to Disneyland... would prefer that hotel versus this one.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 364Nice Room, Great Location
Nice hotel for the price. Comfortable beds, helpful staff. Paying additional for parking would have been a surprise had some other reviews not mentioned it. Close to area attraction.

Nice hotel but the service was very average. It is a good 15 minute walk to Disneyland.

Very nice. The location was great if going to Disneyland. We walked to Downtown Disney, which was about a mile. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful.
